This was the best experience I've had at bottle return since the rate went up and out of towers flooded our county. It's very small, and keep in mind I went on a Wednesday early afternoon. There were maybe 5 other people there using the facility. I read the sign first and saw that unlike other places, I needed to pre-sort my bottles, but at least I could still use my bags. BUT for glass, you HAVE to have a cardboard box to process them. So my 11 glass bottles went back to my car with me. The staff dumped my plastics, then my cans. It was easy peasy. I got my 8 bucks and left with no hassle. It's a bit more of a drive than I'd like, but maybe gives me reason to head to ocean state job lot while I'm up there! I'd like to see what it's busy day/time looks like. But for today, I appreciated the stress free process.

I had a very disappointing experience at this recycling center. I was told I would receive $16 for my items, but I was charged $3 with no clear explanation. I asked about the three “5 bags for $1” charges, and no one could explain them on my receipt. I did not purchase any bags. The staff did not speak English, and it felt like I was being intentionally misled and rushed out, hoping I wouldn’t notice the $3 deduction. I stood my ground, but both workers pointed to 2-liter Coke bottles to justify the charges—even though I didn’t bring any, only a handful of juice containers which they discarded. I understand these centers need to cover costs, but unclear and inconsistent charges are frustrating and unfair. I would appreciate a response from a manager explaining why I was charged $3 for bags, especially since the customer after me was not charged.

Seemed pretty easy but I won't be returning. I'm more than sure i had way more money coming back to me than what I got back. The counter started and I was at around 65 the 1st round and then it reset. Dude restarted the counter 3x. So where's my extra money at?! Not happy about losing money. The ppl were nice and fast with it
