I don't understand how people like this sleep at night. I sold 282lbs of metal (steel) on 07/07/25 on Chapman Rd in Lithonia & received a check for $203.04. At Oconee Metals on 07/14/25 my friend took 2400 lbs. of metal (steel) & received a check for $192.00. I will never do business with these thieves again! The good Lord don't like ugly or thieves. You have been warned!

I seldom leave negative reviews, but this one really bothered me. I called and asked, and verified the price of copper before I brought up over 100 pounds of scrap copper wire. I was very specific over the phone prior to showing up about what type of wire I had, which was stranded, insulated, copper wire. Or THHN. I verified with him once again, and he told me 2.90. All said and done, I get a dollar less than what I was told over the phone, and good thing this was my trial run, because I will never be giving them business again. It almost seems like they give you an enticing scrap price to get you to come in, because they know you won’t take it back if you’re not happy with the price. Needless to say, I’m extremely disappointed.

Their rude and act like your the problem, the employees act like they hate their jobs. Not a good experience & will not be going back. Across the road at L B recycling is a much better place.
