*DO NOT MOVE TO THIS TOWN* They have no water treatment facility in this town! They trust the water they get from Rend Lake, over 40+ miles away. They may test for stuff like chlorine and fluoride, but do not care about sediment like sand in the water. The water pressure, or lack thereof , will not be addressed. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this town (Crainville) as they have many things against it. Oh, also, they charge 20% as a late fee which is ludicrous!

The absolute Worst. If you’re payment gets delayed in the mail and doesn’t arrive on time then you are charged a late fee …. Fine- However- if their bill gets delayed in the mail and you pay it as soon as you receive it but it arrived after the due date then you still receive a late fee! Because somehow you are supposed to magically know the amount that’s due from your ever changing bill amount. It’s the most absurd policy and rule I’ve ever encountered anywhere and there is one of the front desk clerks that is completely incompetent.

No issues working with them. Standard billing policy. Staff is friendly. Water is good. Changed from a 5 star review. hadnt been here long enough to see them in action. 1. Switched trash service. No overlap so we are out a can for 2 weeks. This is unacceptable to me as I am not buying a trash can to tide over for a service I already pay for. It’s also over a long holiday weekend. We should have gotten new cans before relinquishing the old. 2. I am not sure if they were able to change or delay a water outage but it put us in a boil order for the 4th of July. No signs out. The alerts and website were posted but many people don’t follow.
