A great place to do business with. I was clearing out my basement and shed and didn't want to throw any of the metal items into a landfill. There were some very minor language challenges but Ed (Fil) and Sixto (Mex) were very helpful and I was happy with the prices paid for our otherwise junk.

Has always been a low price buyer, but the standard practice has drastically declined! I'm not sure if he has a new boss or what, but his wife is still the accountant. Lately the old guy is being filled in by young blood that don't understand elbow grease, and cause great delay due to their inability to operate simple machines. He's closed for a bowling tournament, because it's cold, because there's a special episode of Oprah, they just aren't dedicated to serving as they had been in the past. Just not worth the time at the compare to prices. Has never been worthwhile, only convenient, and convenience is no longer worth it! I understand they have overhead, but he offered (should say offended) $5.63, and my short trip to the city earned me over 7 times that as well as proving FilMex scale inaccuracies! Save your cash and time, avoid these criminals! Don't line the pockets of the unappreciative, and this is especially insulting, as I'd always ask the old man where he'd like the items stored, and offer to help move other things to make his life simpler. Those days are gone, and I'll keep my cash, as well as my business from ever returning.

This place is great. Our company does heating and air conditioning and we always take our metal there. The prices are more than fair and we've really grown to like this place over the years. I’m happy to drop off metal here any day of the week. 5 stars to this small family based business.
