We had a small emergency when the alternator quit making power as soon as the battery light came on. Luckily I was across the street at Plainfield East High School. Very conveniently they had a tow truck there dropping off another vehicle. After the 1st call, I was towed over in about 20 minutes. Tested it right away and showed me the results. Ordered the alternator and I picked up my CR-V the next morning. All in all, great experience, and fair numbers. Highly recommend this garage.

I’m usually skeptical about repair shops, but Last Chance Auto Repair made auto repair in Plainfield IL feel easy. Dropped it off and they dropped me off Downtown Plainfield. Walked around, had some lunch, got the call with an exact breakdown, and picked it up on time soon thereafter. That’s how it should be.

My AC compressor seized on my F-150 while cruising around South Naperville. Searched the internet and found Last Chance. On arrival they figured out and showed me the problems. Then walked me through OEM vs. aftermarket, replaced the compressor, drier/orifice tube, vacuumed the system, and recharged. Cabin is icebox-level again. Trustworthy air conditioning repair but they do it all.After some off-road Jeep fun in South Naperville at a secret location, I needed an unfortunate tow to a suspension shop. Last Chance Auto Repair came through in the clutch. Towed me in with the quickness. Then performed a thorough inspection of my broke a$$ suspension components and brake lines. Quick, easy, and aligned to perfection, but a bit painful to my pockets. Truck’s trail-ready again and ready for the next mud battle.
