Started great, ended with no communication I’ve been a customer since 2022. For the first couple of years, they were great, service was reliable and affordable with no missed pickups. Over the past year or two, missed weeks became more frequent. At first it was resolved, but eventually my trash was left out for days with no response to calls, emails, or texts. I even had to bring it back in myself. When I requested to cancel service, I never received any acknowledgment. Communication completely broke down, which is disappointing after years as a loyal customer.

I was helping my mother in law clean out some old stuff that resulted in a lot of junk. We made a trip to our local dump in Rockville, as we arrive we come to find out that they have not been accepting trash for a couple of weeks. This resulted in a U-Haul loaded with junk, and we didn’t know what to do with it. We did a quick google search of land fills and junk hauling services and we came across Cooper Refuse and Hauling LLC. With one quick phone call, we were able to situate a same day pick up, time and price. Upon their arrival, Mr. Cooper and his nephew did a thorough and wonderful job removing the junk, and explaining the situation on why the landfills are currently not accepting trash drop offs. All and all I recommend their services, and we will be reaching out for future services.

We have utilized Cooper Refuse for 3 years for curbside trash pickup. Every few months we have a week where they just do not pickup the trash... good luck getting anyone to answer the phone or email.
