I once gave this place a 4 star review then changed it to 1 star based upon a single interaction with one of the employees. I'm now changing it to a 5 star review. Everyone has a bad day. Maybe being under the gun by leadership had him stressed that day. Either way, I did return because of convenience and found both guys working to be pleasant and even humorous on several occasions since that one-off encounter. Thanks so much, guys! We definitely owe y'all a beer! I formerly gave this place a 4 star rating (3 months ago). If my experience then had been anything like my experience today, I would not have come back here. It's not because the dude deducted nearly five dollars due to "waste". (Never happened before) There was certainly a little dirt in my bucket. Not a lot. It's not because the dude made me run a magnet through my scrap three times. (Never happened before) Turns out there were a few shells that weren't brass. I wouldn't have known otherwise. It's not because he walked away and left me waiting to finish the transaction as if my time wasn't valuable. It's because the dude was rude. His attitude isn't conducive to interacting with the public. He may have been someone's superior at his job, but he is not superior to me or anyone else. It would serve this establishment better for him to know that. I won't be back.

I post 1 star, then it goes to 2 star they really need a zero star! Couple times a years a have taken scrap copper from job site, just pieces left behind, 40-60 worth. . They have changed to a Dash card. What a ripe off! Stay away fees on card are outrageous! $24 was gone just in fees trying to take 40 off card . Was only 46on there! Read the paper went to an ATM that said Free, nope only to find out $1.75 per try saying error ! When I called rude people and said too bad. Will never go here again. End they end had to make a purchase to use $22

Honey Badger Scrapping

Fast service. I pre weigh all my metal and they have always been accurate never ripped me off . Schintzer seems to be a great company. I've left Happy 90 percent of the time. Plan to increase my business with them dramatically in the future. Bottom line is they pay the best prices for my metal.
