Do NOT trust this company — dishonest and deceptive! I made a $20,000 down payment on a 2025 Hino box truck from Maurice Schwartz & Son Inc. They delivered the truck after a week, at night, clearly hoping I wouldn’t notice the condition. While the front of the truck looked brand new, the box was OLD, USED, and had been repainted very poorly — with bubbling and peeling paint everywhere. It was obviously done to cover up the wear and tear. They never informed me of the real condition beforehand, and they tried to pass it off as new. When I refused to accept the truck due to their dishonesty, they still tried to deduct money from my deposit for delivery and paperwork — even though the deal was based on misrepresentation and I never finalized the purchase. This company is NOT to be trusted. I am taking legal action and will not stop until I get my full deposit back. Be extremely careful — do NOT buy from them remotely. They take advantage of your trust and hope you won’t notice the truth until it’s too late. I am also attaching several photos to show the real condition of the truck.

Recently assisted my friend in purchasing a truck from Jason and Sean at Schwartz Truck Center. He was treated with professional courtesy and knowledge. We will definitely only use Schwartz Truck Center in the future.

Our experience with Schwartz Truck Center has been extremely disappointing. Almost a year ago, we purchased a Hino truck with the understanding (based on their sales rep’s promises) that it would be built and customized for heavy duty use in construction and scaffolding. What we received was far from that — a flatbed that is light duty, very slippery, bends under load, and completely unsuitable for the purpose it was sold for. On top of that, several items we paid for, including the railings, liftgate, straps, and racks, were never delivered. Despite multiple emails (dating back to February 2024) and phone calls, we never received reimbursement for these missing items. Our messages to their sales rep, Dominick, were ignored, and even when escalating the issue to management, no one followed up or provided an explanation. Not only did we pay extra for this truck because it was “in stock,” but we were also misled about the quality and build. To this day, we have not received what we paid for, nor any customer service to resolve the matter. I cannot recommend Schwartz Truck Center to anyone. If you expect honesty, accountability, and proper service, look elsewhere.
