As I told Mark Today, “where have I been all these years?” I went in to have my vehicle checked over after a visit to the dealership. Mark provided honest and timely feedback. He recommended repairs and services that were absolutely needed, with zero pressure nor “upsells”. I was very satisfied with parts and labor rates. My experience with Black’s Automotive in Audubon, NJ was great. There’s always a sense of anxiety when it comes to finding a trustworthy mechanic, especially after having dealt with a previous repair shop that I really liked had to close its doors suddenly. However, my visit to Black's Automotive quickly alleviated any concerns I had. In my case, I already had a clear understanding of the issue affecting my Subaru Forester, and I was relieved to find that the staff at Black's Automotive agreed with my assessment. Their willingness to listen and validate my concerns immediately put me at ease. Unlike some shops where I’ve felt pressured into unnecessary repairs or upsells, Black’s Automotive maintained a relaxed and honest atmosphere. They provided a detailed explanation of the required repairs and ensured that I was comfortable with the process before proceeding. The pricing was also remarkably reasonable, which is always a pleasant surprise in the automotive repair industry. I felt I received great value for the work done, particularly given the quality of service and the expertise they demonstrated. Overall, I am incredibly grateful to have discovered Black’s Automotive. It’s worth noting that I made a post in the Audubon community page seeking a mechanic…. and Black’s was mentioned at least 5 times. It’s reassuring to know that there is a reliable, honest, and fairly-priced repair shop in my area. Black's Auto is a great place to take your car! They really appreciate their customers and go out of their way to facilitate an appointment convenient for you. They are extremely trustworthy, knowledgeable, and friendly, and you can be sure you will be paying a fair price for their services, and not getting ripped off, like unfortunately you do sometimes, at other places. Mike & Mark are the best and now I do know Sean, one of the mechanics who went out of his way late on a Friday afternoon to remove a nail from my tire and then switch out the donut with the repaired tire. I'm sure he had better things to do at the time, and I had no appointment, but he didn't hesitate to help me, and it was very much appreciated. Being an older woman, you don't find this wonderful, caring treatment from any auto shops, that's for sure! Love this place! Thanks!
