03/04/26 was the date of my service. I bought my car in as told 10 minutes before 7:00 am. I was on time however, they didn’t start the service until after 7:15 am. Here’s my problem, Before servicing my car, I would have like to know the breakdown of service prices for the oil changes. There are many oil changes as far as prices go. Welp to my surprise there wasn’t any communication as to what I would pay for an Audi 2012 147,000 miles. Nope, they decided the higher cost was what I needed without talking to me first. This is not normal business behavior, it sounds like bad practices. Whatever happened to the courtesy of a breakdown of prices and choices. I decide that not Firestone. I also asked about upper control arms as I had my car fully diagnosed with the printout. They too charge more than Audi. Welp it’s a done deal. Audi will be seeing me. To anyone reading this, check the prices before you let them do any work on your car.

BEWARE!!! THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU! A BUNCH UNPROFESSIONALS WORK HERE. The front desk guy John set the wrong tone as soon as the first minute I entered the place. He accused me of vaping in the waiting area and said he saw smoke. Well I don't vape at all. It was raining and foggy that morning. Review your CCTV camera for reference. I went there for an oil change, tire rotation, and removal of a nail(screw) on one of the tires of my wife's 2014 Toyota Corolla....oil was drained and replaced but they can't unlock the housing(cover) of the oil filter. They said it's stuck and don't want to force it. Saying, plastic to metal thingie. I paid for the oil but not for the filter. A good $79 minus the oil filter. John even told me that he hates Toyota and states the issue is factory defect. So I went to a Toyota dealership later and spoke to my brother who works there as a mechanic to confirm what Firestone Bayonne employees told me. He told me "IT'S NOT A FACTORY DEFECT. THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING, IT ONLY NEEDS A SIMPLE TOOL TO UNLOCK IT AND FOR SURE THEY HAVE THAT TOOL TO DO IT." Now we get to the tire rotation which cost $10...hmmm sounds reasonable, right? WRONG!!! They can't remove one of the tires because a nut got stuck with the stud. I think a simple WD-40 will do the trick. But they said we need to break the stud and replace it. The stud cost $8 but the labor was $140 plus taxes. OUCH!!! Patching a tire $30...maybe reasonable. Overall I paid $285.... I think it's a rip off since these guys want to up their sales and charges so they can make revenue and have the nerve to suggest that they offer "0% financing for 6 months" Well...in order for you to satisfy your customers to keep coming back, you really have to be honest and improve your work ethic and professionalism. You guys are like making your customers look stupid and suggesting things as if it's difficult to do and if you suggest something and they say yes....boom there you go...customers pay you at a premium and easy money for you.

Extremely overpriced Oil Change for +10 years old car. Also the agent enforced to use full syntactic oil while manufacturer itself does not recommend. If you look for good CX then looks somewhere else
