I recently had my car towed through AAA, which was outsourced to Demauro Towing, and while the request process was smooth and my initial driver, Kevin, was professional and knowledgeable, the experience quickly went downhill after that. After my car was loaded around 9:03 PM, I received a call from Demauro’s main office at 9:26 PM stating that my dealership drop-off site was barricaded and asking for an alternate location. I provided my home address, which they confirmed and updated in the system. At 9:47 PM, I called for an ETA and was told the driver was about 10 minutes away. Instead, at 10:16 PM, I was called again and informed—without prior notice—that my car had been taken to one of their storage lots “for convenience.” I was never offered that as an option, nor was I given a choice before they decided where to place my vehicle. When I expressed frustration, the representative responded dismissively and hung up on me. My car finally arrived home at 10:52 PM with a completely different driver who was kind but unaware of the entire situation. This kind of poor communication, lack of transparency, and disregard for the customer’s time and consent is unacceptable. What started as a straightforward tow turned into a stressful and confusing experience that should have been handled far more professionally.

I had one of the best experiences with AAA thanks to Antonio, the tow truck operator who came to help with my car. Instead of just towing it away like most would, Antonio went above and beyond. I explained that I had several important appointments and really needed my car, and he took it upon himself to actually diagnose the issue on the spot. Not only did he find the problem, but he fixed it right then and there. It’s been a week now and my car is still running smoothly with no issues at all. He saved me time, stress, and a lot of money. Antonio is clearly a skilled mechanic as well as a compassionate person. He wouldn’t even accept any payment for the fix he simply said he’d report it as a jump and only asked that I leave a review. AAA is lucky to have someone as honest, caring, and dedicated as Antonio. People like him remind you that there are still good, genuine individuals out there. Thank you, Antonio you truly made a difference!

I've decided to give DeMauro towing three stars just based on the professionalism and expertise of JB. He truly saved the day. The original tow guy that came to my residence (pictures) was tremendously rude, disrespectful, unprofessional. I should have known this was not going to be a good experience when he pulled up in front of my residence and proceeded to sit in the truck for 5 minutes. When I approached the truck, he was rubbing his eyes looked tired and said "what's wrong with the car." No hello, good morning, nothing. I proceeded to tell him that the car wouldn't start he said okay and continued rubbing his eyes while flipping through his phone. My insurance company dispatched DeMauro towing a few days ago when my car initially broke down and although that tow guy was very, very nice he damaged the undercarriage of my car. I decided to inform this guy of what happened previously, just so he was aware that there was damage and immediately he got defensive. Saying that he can't fix it, it wasn't his fault or his issue. I tried to explain to him that I was just informing him- nothing more nothing less. At this point he was beyond rude and clearly didn't want to complete the service and he became very argumentative. As a result I decided to start recording just in case he caused more damage to my vehicle because he was slamming things on his truck. When he saw me recording he got even more enraged and decided to manually dump motor oil in my driveway and tell me that his "oil line broke" and that he couldn't complete my tow. I knew he was being full of crap so I asked him to show me the broken oil line which he couldn't. Luckily when I called DeMauro, they were able to quickly send out JB who was amazing! This man shouldn't be working with customers if his temper is so easily set off for something so simple. Thanks JB!
