At approximately 11:30 AM on Presidents Day 2026, at the Modern 800 building in Fort Lee, I witnessed extremely troubling conduct by a truck from ABC Towing. The tow truck attempted to gain access through the internal resident gate and blocked it for several minutes, preventing at least five residents from entering the parking area they pay for. When one resident asked the driver to move, the driver responded by yelling and using aggressive profanity. After partially backing up to allow one vehicle through, the tow truck then accelerated closely behind that resident’s car and forced its way through a gate that had only opened for the resident. The gate came down onto the tow truck, but it continued forward and pushed through the gate. The tow truck then proceeded to drive through the entire garage at a dangerously high speed and ignored posted stop signs. From what I observed, this created a safety risk, caused significant inconvenience to residents, and was highly unprofessional and upsetting. I strongly encourage the company to review driver conduct, safety practices, and access procedures at residential properties such as Modern 800.
