After breaking down on the palisades I had my car towed here. Several hours later I drove away from this shop quite satisfied with the service and professionalism! Effie was beyond knowledgeable in explaining the issues with the broken transmission lines and the options and potential outcomes. The truck was back on the rd in hours and Effie went above and beyond in addressing and fixing the truck quickly. I would recommend this place without hesitation! Effie runs a fantastic outfit and made the experience a pleasure rather than an opportunity to his benefit, or to take advantage of me in my broken down state. This shop is exceptional! All five stars.

Effie was very quick to respond & truly meant it when he said he’ll get back to you. He provided photos of what the issues were on my car & gave detailed explanations on their functions & what the issue is with the parts that need to be replaced on my car (my coils & shocks mainly). He also wasn’t forceful in doing the repairs, & even taking the time to point out another issue that I should be aware of, but no pressure at all on having it done right now. I greatly appreciate the honesty, education & also the convenience of the tow! I will be coming back to get my car worked on for sure! Highly recommend Effie!

I started coming here after a coworkers recommendation since we haven’t lived in NJ long. It was fine for oil changes, even dealerships take hours. Small fixes like flat tires and alignments. Effie is very knowledgeable, especially when it comes to knowing things about warranties and what not to do. However, the professionalism lacks and communication of the shop in general. We had our car for a month sitting at his place while he tried to work things out with our external bumper to bumper warranty or dealership to get a door latch and transmission issue covered. We drove it back and forth multiple times and we don’t live close (30 min drive or $20-30 uber). It sat there for a month. They don’t provide any paperwork or proper receipts. When I was hoping they would contact the insurance with the door latch issue, they just printed me an itemized receipt, basically expecting me to handle it with the warranty. We paid about $300 and it should have been covered. But they’re too busy or too lazy. He does try to save you money by trying to fix what’s necessary but when it doesn’t resolve the issue. We would rather have paid more in the first place than waste TIME & money. The amount of time I’ve spent driving back and forth or waiting here. Also, I usually have to wait for the work to be done and will wait for a call or text. They say two hours. Four hours later, no call or text. so I text or show up and they are so disorganized, they spend another 15 min to figure out if it’s been ready (most of the time they just don’t call you). Everyone is nice and friendly. I don’t want to put the entire blame on the staff but sometimes I feel like some issues got worse only after we brought the car in. I’ll be standing there when other customers come in and something they fixed wasn’t down properly by the sounds of it. My faith in this place has gone down and we may shop around next time. We miss our old mechanic but he’s no longer an option since we’ve moved away. It’s so bad I’m almost afraid to go back here to get an oil change in case they don’t do it properly or miss something. They also never do an all around checkup of your car when you bring it in. My old mechanic would check on brakes and everything including tires. At least he would let us know if anything needed to be done or was unnecessary. Here, they seem to only check what you ask and if you don’t know anything about cars, good luck until the next issue that was preventable comes up. Still haven’t figured out the weird A/C issue when it blasts hot air occasionally.
