A state trooper banged on my door at 6 AM and told me to leave even though I had only been parked for 6 hours. Interrupting a driver’s sleep like that is dangerous and puts both the driver and the public at risk. They also said the truck would be ticketed or towed if unattended. Do they really think drivers enjoy sitting in parking lots for days? New Jersey seriously needs more truck parking. Drivers are just trying to get the rest they need.

Excellent service area with a good selection of shops, places to sit and walk and clean restrooms. For people travelling northbound this is the last Service area in New Jersey on the turnpike. for south bounders this is a good spot to stop if the traffic is heavy in the area. You need to pay attention to the signs for car or truck parking as you will make a revolution of the Service area from the road to the parking lot. Be sure to give way where there are yield signs.

Update: March 8 2026 Came in today for some much needed coffee, Sausage, egg on a croissant. Medium coffee & its was too good. Went to Dunkin Donuts of course in this beautifully artistic Vince Lombardi Service Plaza in Ridgefield NJ. (Never knew Lombardi was from Brooklyn) After I had my coffee had to get another cup to go. This service plaza has pretty much all tou need. You got great food options, great coffee options. You got motivational quotes and sayings. The bathrooms are clean & this place is well kept and maintained. I love coming here before I go into Queens NY tomorrow. This is a great place to get some coffee, cool vibes from all the tourist who visit. Motivational quotes on the wall. Mixed with the cool esthetics throughout. Great place, cool vibes - come check this service plaza out if you're in the area. This am went to D&D to get my coffee & relax a bit before I roll to Kenilworth, NJ & back to Texas. I miss NJ as I was born and raised here. Yall parking situation is freaking crazy tho. I couldn't do this everyday. Fighting for a spot to get some rest because we're out of time. I have zero clue how you NYC drivers do it everyday either. So much respect to US TRUCKERS WHO LITERALLY MOVE AMERICA. If we don't get up and make things happen this country would stop. So in short take your time to get what you need done.
