We ran aground while anchoring outside Edisto, SC. John dispatched to come help and though he expertly tried to get us off, we were dug in with our wing keel. So he stayed with our boat hours until we got enough tide to successfully get us into deeper water. While waiting he not only retrieved our primary anchor, he and I retrieved our secondary anchor which a buddy boat deployed to try to keep us from heeling too much as the tide continued to ebb. Above and beyond kind of stuff for sure!! I can’t say enough good things about John! Not only professional and skilled, he had a great attitude and helped us think through the ordeal and we both felt much better having him on the scene. Thanks John and TowBoatUS Beaufort!!!!

I’ve towed many boats in my years and been in many tight spots as a professional mariner. This was my first time being towed by someone else. Bear at towboat US in Swansboro is great under pressure and in tight spots. Great captain- great job!
