Our rv tire shredded on 95. We pulled into Burger King needing more of a jack than what we had. Family Tire Center had the tire we needed and was very willing to follow us to change the tire with a jack that could handle the rv weight. We went to their shop & they updated our other 3 tires in between their clients with appointments. We appreciate the quick friendly service!

My wife and I left Connecticut early Tuesday morning December 23rd for a long roadtrip to visit family in Florida for Christmas. It was smooth sailing down 95 for the whole day until we went to pull off in Dunn, NC to rest for the evening. The moment we pulled off onto the exit at 7:10 PM, we heard a loud pop and thumping. We had picked up a massive bolt in our tire, just our luck! Thankfully we were able to pull into the gas station right off the exit to try and figure out if our holiday trip was ruined. While I got out and pulled off the tire to throw on the donut, my wife started calling all around to see if any garage or tire shop was open in the area. Call after call, no one answered. The tow truck driver at the gas station said they could tow us, but we’d have to wait until morning to get it replaced since everything local was closed, and that was if they had the right size for our little car. It seemed like we wouldn’t be making it to Florida on time. But after countless phone calls, someone finally picked up just before 8 PM! It was Family Tire Shop in Benson, NC and they were only one exit back from where we were. They had closed at 7 but were still in the shop and offered to reopen for us! So we hopped back on 95 and headed right to their shop, putting very few miles on the donut. We arrived at 8:10, they took a look at the tire and let us know they could definitely patch it for us in lieu of having to fully replace it with a slightly off size tire (our car has a tire size that usually has to be special ordered so this was expected). Within 30 minutes they had us patched and back in the road as if nothing had happened! They were so kind and accommodating, we are eternally grateful to them and would come back consistently if it weren’t 800 miles from our home! Thank you so much Family Tire Shop, you gave us the ultimate Christmas gift by allowing us to get to our family!

Had a blowout on 95, and van was too low to get the jack under. Called these guys and within 45 mins they had me fixed up! Then had another blowout from a different tire 1/2 mile after leaving and they brought a new tire and replaced it right on the side of the road. Highly recommended!
