Hands down better than the Rowan county landfill. Here you can use the convenience dumpsters with anything up to an 8 ft trailer. It seems to be just a flat $15 fee, since they have not made me weigh out for household trash when I visit. At Rowan county it is usually 10 bucks for a truckload, but they make you weigh in and out if you have a trailer which is annoying and time-consuming. Staff are also better here

Another government entity that doesn't support its citizens. I talked with a rude lady on the phone about what i can bring in. When I mentioned I have a 5x10 trailer (simple a utility trailer), she said they don't allow that size of trailer and to read their sign. I think the sign is how unintelligent people who work at a local government facility, can make rules that don't make sense and can be nasty on top of it. Don't use weight as a restriction, use the extra 2 feet of a trailer even though there's next to nothing in it. We need to vote out whoever is currently over the sanitation. There has to be some level of intelligence out there to do that job

The hours of operation are not accurate on here. More than once I have showed up with them being closed. The scale operators can be short and rude at times. The standard questions you better know if you are a residential customer, Number of trash bags worth of trash you have, color of trash bag. Equivalent number of recycling in trash bags and so on and so on. Generally, nice facility and easy once you get in through the scale folks.....
