My Story Today… One for the Books Let me tell you about today, because this whole weekend felt like life throwing everything at once — the good, the sad, the stressful, and the blessed. I was down in Wilson, North Carolina, at Stephen’s Funeral Home, attending my great-aunt’s going-home service. Beautiful, emotional ceremony. But while I was there, something else happened that completely caught me off guard. I discovered that another relative had also passed — someone I didn’t even know was gone. My cousin Ava (Abigail), her husband Newbern Lynch, and my cousins Kiki and Reese had just lost their father. Their family was grieving two major losses at the same time — their aunt and their father — and it honestly blew my mind. Right there at the funeral home, I called them, talked to them, let them know I was thinking of them. I saw my cousin Ava in person, gave her my condolences, and just hugged her. It was a heavy moment… one of those reminders that life hits hard, sometimes twice at once. After all that emotion, we left around 4 a.m. trying to make the long drive back to New Jersey. We made it somewhere between Enfield and Whitakers, NC, when my truck decided it was done for the day. The water pump blew, the engine overheated, and we rolled to the shoulder of I-95 in the dark with no idea where the nearest exit even was. It's 5 a.m., cold, dark, and me and my sister are sitting in a dead truck with no heat. I’m on the phone with AAA talking to Scott, then Julius. A state trooper stops by, checks on us, and leaves. And then we waited. From 5 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. Finally, a tow truck pulls up. And then… another tow truck pulls up right behind him. I’m standing there like: “Why are tow trucks arriving in pairs? What is happening today?” First guy had us halfway on the flatbed already, so I told the second one AAA must have called them both. Gave the second guy a tip for coming out anyway — didn’t have to, but he was cool. But that second driver? He turned out to be the lifesaver of the day: Julius Daniels of J&J Towing and J&J Automotive …right there in the Enfield/Whitakers area. He took us to his shop, called ahead, and by the time we arrived, his son Julius Jr. was already waiting outside ready to diagnose the truck. His other son, Alex, was helping too. These guys were moving like a professional race team. Junior checks the truck and says: “Yep — water pump. Don’t worry, already ordered it. Part’s on the way.” And I’m standing there like… Is this real life? Minutes later the part arrives. They install it. No leaks. No nonsense. No runaround. By 8:45 a.m. the truck is on the lift. By 9:00 a.m. we’re back on the road. Meanwhile, two of my other sisters and my aunt are blowing up my phone: “You okay?” “You need money?” “You want us to come get you?” “We’ll drive down right now!” I told them the story and they were shocked — relieved — and just happy we ended up with honest, solid people who took care of us. Especially after one tow company offered to tow me all the way to New Jersey for $1,700, or to take me to Fredericksburg, Virginia to the only open shop that might fix it today. If I had no choice, I would’ve done it. But thankfully, God lined it up differently. --- HUGE Shout-Out to J&J Towing and J&J Automotive Julius Daniels Julius Daniels Jr. Alex Daniels You don’t meet people like this often. Good men. Honest work. Fast service. They took care of me and my sister like family. I’m literally thinking of sending them a fruit basket because they turned what could’ve been a nightmare — stuck for days, stranded on I-95 — into a same-morning repair and a safe trip home. Between the funerals, the family losses, the road breakdown, the hours on the highway, the tow truck confusion, and then meeting these incredible folks who got us back on the road… it has been one unforgettable weekend.

For Men's that who wife go on road trip with your kids and she get a flat tire please go some where else. My wife tire blew out they charge her almost $500 dollars for one tire that was a $100 dollar they didn't want too tell me the brand so I can see that they over charge her I was in Virginia when call me and told me what was going on.. They got her on the road but Damn ripping her off like that wasn't kool...Never stop there again $400 too much down the drain and it was Christmas Eve guess that how yall do business smh.???
