Came here for a state inspection based on the reviews, some stating how "honest" this place was, and also because it fairly close to where I live. It turns out that this place is also one those places that using a discounted inspection fee to attract customers and then fail the inspection over questionable issues they identified using their magic magnify. Over the years my experience with a garage like this usually picking on 3 places for a failed inspection: tires, brakes, and CV joint boots. I changed a CV boot per the findings in last inspection (to be fair, it's in another garage but that's exactly the reason why I changed the place this time). About 1 year later, I was told that, the CV boot showed "a small sign of leaking". As a result, they wouldn't let me car pass unless I pay them $800+ for a new axle, same experience as last year. They couldn’t provide any photos of the issue and wouldn’t bother to lift the car to show me the supposed leak. I decided to drive 45 minutes to a garage I actually trust, and their technician didn’t see any problem at all. The inspection there passed smoothly without issue. Bad experience with this garage.

The location is very convenient—it's right at the gas station. Whenever you have any questions while fueling up, you can always stop by. I've been there twice. The first time, I went in for rim repairs, and the staff advised me that, in my case, it was better to leave it as is rather than spending a lot of money. They could have easily charged me, but instead, they were honest and saved me unnecessary costs. I also went this morning for an oil level check. They helped me efficiently in under five minutes, without an appointment, and even topped up my oil to the correct level. They didn’t charge me for it and just let me go. I really appreciate the staff there—absolute GOAT! Highly recommend!

I've been here numerous times, I really appreciate how professional and honest they are. I've live around the area and between my family and I we've been to a lot of the shops around. Not to drop name but here are some name that I felt Heilman in Ardmore were much better: Ardmore Toyota, PA Tire and Auto. Thank you for all the times you took care of my car and the times when you took care of my wife and helped her fill up air or those little tire cap things.
