excellent parts department, very helpful with tracking down parts for my 89' western star. recently had the service department work on the driveshaft, they did a great job and overall I've been pleased with pricing and they have a quick turnaround. I'd highly recommend, there are shops and parts places much closer to me but Rivers is worth the extra drive to red lion.

Very disappointed. After having our 2 year old gooseneck flatbed inspected (which required brakes) we had a tire blow while out of town. Which should have been a simple tire change along side the road turned into call for service, towing and full hub replacement because 6 of the 8 lug nuts were cross threaded. After bringing this to RIVERS attention they did not accept responsibility and made no effort to make things right. I took the trailer to a different garage to check the remaining wheels to find 3 more lugs that were cross threaded and needed replaced. We will NOT return.

Overall, I had great experiences with Rivers which is why I am giving 3 stars and not 1. Up until a few days ago. I asked that an L-shaped handle be fixed for the latch to a door. (see picture). Their fix was to weld a bolt onto the existing pin and create the 'L'. Quick spray paint and job done. My first thought.....this is not very professional.....however, I was happy it was done and could use the handle. The main issue was the price I was charged for this....$231!! When I talked to Steve (service manager I assume), he said he hadn't seen what was done yet, but would go out and check it. He also told me that their hourly rate is $130 (approximately) per hour. This would mean that the job they performed was nearing 2 hours! When I questioned the hours spent on the job, his response was to immediately get angry and tell me that my options are to either leave as is and pay the fee or he would cut the handle off and refund my money!!! So, thats what I chose. (the 2nd picture attached to this post). As you can see from the burn mark on the truck after they removed it....they torched it to get it off. Took them about 30 seconds to remove it. With that said, I assume it took them just as long to put a new one on.....however, decided to charge me almost 2 hours worth of labor and REFUSED to provide me with a breakdown on why I was being charged that much. I was then told they would not work on my other truck that we just dropped off. So, we needed to have more guys drive out to pick up a truck that they were refusing to work on. **That 2nd truck was only dropped off because earlier in the week, they "fixed" our ABS light. However, 20 minutes down the road, the light came back on. This place is 45-60 minutes from our location, however, it is the closest place that will do warranty work. They wasted a TON of my LABOR hours on employees running trucks numerous times back and forth for NOTHING. Again, in the past, I always had good experiences with trucks getting fixed at Rivers. This past week or so, however, was a drastic change for the worse. Top notch UN-professionalism.
