I never heard of this place until I moved to red Lion a few years ago. Now every month we buy our weekly snacks there. We spend around 50. It's so great being able to save. I occasionally get a few other things too. One time I purchased 2 robes for 5.00 each. They were from Norwegian Cruise line. I ware them all the time.

We Love D & K. Great place to find packaged (“junk”) foods, including cereal and individually wrapped snacks for school at excellent prices. Often near expiration, but not always (and I don’t get too worried about expiration dates, so this is by no means a deal breaker for us). They also have good deals on candy (though it’s usually out of season, so if you get a mixed pack, you might end up with rolos that taste like twizzlers). There are also often deals on yogurt e.g. go-gurts for $1/box, individual yogurts 2 or 3 for $1, etc. Finally, They have frozen veg and ice cream novelties at great prices. TL,DR: great prices for random and individual snack finds, but not if you want specific foods or care about expiration dates

Can’t go wrong at D and K. Items routinely change (so don’t plan on it being there next time), and the prices are reasonable. I equate the store on the weekends to Black Friday shopping in the 1990s at Walmart. It is busy and packed. Make sure you hold your small child’s hands. Weeknights seem to be better if you want to avoid the Black Friday vibes.
