I work at a healthcare facility on Laney Walker Boulevard and my schedule does not have flexibility in it. When you are coming off a difficult shift and something goes wrong with your car, you just need it handled. That is what happened.

Fuel pump died on me on I-20 westbound near the Gordon Highway exit during afternoon rush. Complete loss of drive, coast to the shoulder, hazards on, cars moving fast and close. Called Griffin Fast Towing Recovery and the dispatcher had my location confirmed and a driver dispatched before I finitheyd explaining where I was. they gave me a 34 minute ETA and told me to stay buckled with the door closed until the driver confirmed he was directly behind me. He came in 32. Had his reflectors and lighting set before stepping toward my car, loaded the flatbed efficiently on a tight I-20 shoulder, and drove me to a shop on Wrightsboro Road that could get the part in first thing the next morning. That I-20 shoulder near Gordon Highway is not a place to spend extra time and Griffin Fast did not waste any of mine.
