After my poor experience at Serra Chevrolet, I called Payne Chevrolet in Springfield, TN, and the difference was night and day. I spoke with Craig Wegner, who immediately said, “How soon can you bring it in?” I told him 30 minutes, and when I arrived, the service team treated me with respect, urgency, and genuine care. They got my vehicle in right away and had it diagnosed in less than 40 minutes—same day. To my surprise, they even waived the diagnostic fee as a courtesy, without me asking for it. Craig also explained everything clearly, including that the previous dealership likely didn’t perform a full transmission flush as the TSB required. He made sure I knew what needed to be done next, even if it wasn’t with their dealership. That kind of honesty and professionalism is rare these days. Payne Chevrolet is the only reason I would consider another GM vehicle after everything I went through. Craig and the team at Payne are simply good people who do the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
