Predatory and misleading towing practices. I already had a tow truck on the way when a truck from Willow Springs Recovery showed up. They did not tell me the price upfront, did not ask if I already had another tow coming, and proceeded to take my car anyway. Only after the vehicle was taken did they tell me I had to pay $245 for a tow of only 3.6 miles, which is extremely excessive. When I questioned the charge, I was threatened that if I didn’t pay immediately, my car would be taken to their impound lot and I would be responsible for additional fees. I felt intimidated and forced to pay out of fear of losing my vehicle. Towing companies should clearly explain pricing before towing and give customers the option to refuse service. This company does not do that. It felt like they were counting on fear and confusion to take advantage of people in vulnerable situations. I strongly recommend others be very cautious and ask for written pricing upfront before allowing this company to tow your vehicle.

I got my vehicle towed and after paying the most I have ever paid for recovering my vehicle, two days later I realized that they stole my Ray Ban sunglasses. Make sure to check that your belongings are in you car when picking it up from these people.

Unsafe drivers. During a snow storm in northern Virginia, driver proceeded down 28 South 66 East express lanes entrance at excessive speed, splashing nearby vehicles, only to cut over back to normal non-toll lanes without signaling at the last second. Wreckless and unnecessary.
