DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! The towing guys are AWESOME but the so called mechanics are amateurs! The towing was there right when they said they would be and he was very helpful and comical and made the situation less terrible. I got into an accident on my way through VA for spring break. Croppers towed my car to their auto body shop, which was a very sketchy establishment to begin with. I received a call from them a few days later telling me what the damage was and how much it would be. The price was some- what reasonable for what needed to be done to my car but they sure as hell didn't do what they were supposed to! All I told them to do was put in a new radiator (simple enough right?) WRONG! Not for these brain dead people! First they tell me that they are "not equipped to handle something like this", which I said fine to and that I'll take it to someone who can do it right. Then without my knowledge they went ahead and "tried" to do it anyway! So 5 hours later they called and said that they put the radiator in. I didn't trust what they did (which was very smart on my part). I still had it towed to a pro shop to make sure they did everything correct and to finish the body work and anything else that needed done. The place that I had it towed to assumed that because the radiator was new that there was no issues, oh but there was.... The body shop repaired EVERYTHING on my car and the day before I was supposed to pick it up they were checking the fluids and noticed that the radiator fluid was low so they put some in and it leaked all over their shop floor! They looked for the leak and noticed that when Croppers put in the supposed new radiator they cracked the thermostat housing. So the shop fixed it and filled it back up and it leaked AGAIN but this time from the radiator itself! This shop is a complete waste of money and time! They are they worst auto body shop I have ever witnessed! I have friends who are in high school who do better work than these so called "mechanics" did.

We broke down on 95 N, after a mobile mechanic tried for hours to fix our van, we had it towed here. Towing charge was 1/2 price of anyone else, we arrived at 4:30 pm and the guys worked on our van till 8pm, 2 hours past closing, No extra charges, exactly what they told me. Van is running fine, thank God for these honest, hardworking guys !

Professional, reasonable and fair. I have been working with Walter for the past week while my vehicle was at Croppers Auto shop. He really went above and beyond to help me navigate what could have been a very costly repair! He touched base often to discuss progress & updates. My vehicle couldnt have broken down during my travels in a better area! I absolutely recommend bringing your vehicle to Walter at Croppers Auto when your vehicle needs repair!
