My only problem writing this review is that I have too many good things to say about Smithfield Auto & Truck!! In mid-November I hit a deer at 55mph and veered off road causing extensive body damage (over $19,500 parts & labor) to my 2016 4Runner. Tony and the team were very attentive and responsive through my entire repair process, and as a USAA-certified shop, the insurance aspect was absolutely seamless. From they very start they notified me upon receipt of my vehicle (had to be towed) and quickly provided a very detailed estimate with line-by-line breakdowns and pictures. The estimate even included details for the source of parts, almost all brand-new OEM from Toyota dealers or factory. They got right to work once given the "OK" and USAA paid the bill within hours, along with adjustments throughout the repair. At one point an after-market part didn't fit quite right and instead of just leaving it, Tony sought out the OEM piece to make sure it was done right. When my 4Runner was ready, Tony told me to drive it and let them know if anything wasn't right, as I know how it typically drives. It still pulled hard to one side and there were a couple gaps and loose fittings I noticed. Due to my location, work schedule and work truck, it is nearly impossible for me to drop off/pick up the 4Runner. Smithfield Auto, without question, covered the towing to pick my vehicle up, make the additional repairs (within just a few days), AND drop it back off at my house. Needless to say the work was incredible and even the very minor items I noticed, they did everything to make it right and accommodate my schedule. Many thanks to Tony and the staff, I am so happy to have my truck back!
