If the rating system would allow, we would give Dan 10 stars! He saved us. Our minivan’s front left tire blew out on 90E on a Sunday October afternoon 30 minutes into our drive back to Detroit, Michigan after visiting our daughters who are UW-Madison students. Dan is intelligent, experienced, calm, caring and committed to customer service. Immediately when we connected via cellphone with him, he asked if we were safe. He asked if we were pulled over on 90East or if we managed to drive to an exit. He put us at ease by pledging to get to us and take care of the problem. He inquired about the numbers printed on the tire so he could come prepared with a replacement if necessary. When he arrived, he was immediately a man of action, and very polite. He also calmly explained that he thought the tire could be safely plugged rather than replaced. Since the minivan is front wheel drive, he insisted on moving the tire he expertly plugged to the left rear and moved the left rear tire to the left front. (He thought of that; we didn’t). He also ran the soapy water test to make sure the repaired tire was sound. He was faster than a NASCAR pit crew! Dan barely charged us anything. The only downside to this experience was listening to my husband lament on our 7-hour drive home that he felt like a cheapskate giving Dan so little money. I feel compelled to also report that when I first telephoned a Tire Plus and a Firestone, I did not sense the commitment to customer service that Dan puts forth without hesitation. Those other stores’ managers told me that even if I got my car towed to them by 3:30 pm that they could not promise to change the tire that same day. The towing was going to be at least $123. And they suggested I line up an Uber driver to meet me at their place of business to drop me off at a hotel, and to come back the next morning. I told them I am battling breast cancer and had to be back in Detroit, Michigan the next morning for chemo. In contrast, Dan wished me well in my healing from cancer journey. We still marvel when thinking about how fast and capably Dan worked on our car the moment he pulled up to us. It also was obvious that Dan is committed to investing in quality equipment to aid him in efficiently working on cars/trucks. We suggest adding Dan and his phone number to your cellphone contacts. We have. He is a role model business owner. We need more people like Dan in the world.

My son was working on a job site in the area and found a nail in his tire. He was 2 hours from home, so he could not drive in this condition. I called multiple places in the area only to hear that we are booked full due to the holiday and cannot get him in. The last place I called referred me to Main & Page. I called and spoke with Dan. He told me no problem taking care of this, so my son came in after work and Dan had him back on the road within 15 minutes at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend Main & Page being your first call if in this area. Thanks Dan for your 5 star service.
