My check engine light came on while driving home to MN from the Madison area. I stopped at the closest place I could find and I’m extremely thankful it was there! I arrived 2 minutes before they closed and they still ordered parts and stayed late to fix my car for me at a very reasonable price so that I could get home safe! As an additional kindness they also let me know a couple other things they noticed that weren’t urgent but I should consider soon while knowing I live hours away!

How blessed I am to have come across D’S Automotive in Wisconsin. Traveling home from driving cross country, I noticed a loud humming sound which I recognized as a bad wheel bearing. My boyfriend and I quickly got off the highway and found this mechanic shop. I can’t even begin to express how welcoming and helpful everyone was. There were so many cars in the shop and parking lot and within 3 hours we had a new wheel bearing and were on our way. They took us in within without question. We enjoyed small talk with some of the customers while we waited, and overall had a very pleasant experience. They treated us like family, even our dog. Derek does a great job taking care of all of our cars. One of my most important thing in getting a car repaired is that it’s done right the first time and I don’t ever have to return a vehicle to Derek for not properly being fixed. He takes the time to meticulously go over whatever the issue is and keeps you updated on the progress if it takes longer than quoted. Very well priced and really takes the time to know his customers and anticipate their needs.
