Recently had a 2014 CRV with A/C issues. From the beginning, Bill, the owner, was super willing to educate me on all the problems and literally show me. Turns out this year model is known for what's called "black death" where the compressor breaks down and sends metal all through the A/C system (black sludge photos). Often times it ruins everything, but they said I had a 50/50 shot that it was stopped in the condenser filter...we went for it and sure enough it was contained there! They saved it! - Further more I was coincidentally able to make an insurance claim to cover part of the repair and he was super pro-client in giving the insurance company just what they needed to make a claim..nothing more ;). From start to finish I was impressed with how responsive he was (always answered the phone & texted photos throughout job), time to explain everything, and literally allowing me to walk out into the shop and 'show' me the problems with my vehicle. The prices didn't strike me as abnormal either. It was quality work and I was willing to pay for it. Would definitely take my Honda here again. Lastly, when I complimented him on how well he explained something he said, "You sound like a genius when you've worked on the same thing 100times." - Which, an expert with experience was what I was looking for. They got it.
