My family and I were on the way to South Carolina for vacation from Pittsburgh. About an hour into our journey, my check engine light began to flash. We pulled into an Auto Zone off the Waynesburg exit to get a code reading and it told us we had a misfire in our engine. With a car full of kids and luggage, my wife and I were worried about our van so we googled local mechanics. Walt’s Auto Clinic came right up with high ratings so I called, resigned to the reality that it may be a full day until we could continue our trip, but Gene told us to come right over. When we arrived, they were able to pull us into the bay, diagnosis the problem, get parts, and fix the issue, all in an hour! Gene and Chris are good ole boys who know their cars and know how to take care of people. Given the situation and their willingness to take us right away, the cost was very affordable and the customer service was great! Walt’s Auto Clinic saved our vacation and we’re so grateful for them.
