My car stranded me here in November 1999 after the engine lunched itself (due to a recall item Ford would acknowledge a few months later). Being from Minnesota, I was a LONG way from home, and AAA matched me up with this repair shop. The staff not only saw no problem with leaving my car there for 2 months while I got the repair cost together, but also helped me out with lunch, and a Greyhound connection so I could get back home in reasonable time. The epitome of "southern hospitality". When my BFF (now my partner) came down to pick up the car, as I couldn't get time off work to do it myself, she was quite satisfied at the quality of workmanship in the installation of the new engine, and the new engine would go on to last the rest of the car's life. 5 star service! Oh...and Ford refunded me the entire cost of the repair after they announced the recall on the faulty head gasket that lunched my engine.

Do not use this business, they are a rip off. They charged 1900 for a throttle body that took 10 minute to install.plus they charged 4 percent service supply fee doesn't make sense.They take advantage of people on vacation at cherry stone.

Ferebee does not stand by their work. In July 2023, we had a power steering issue on our trip back home to Florida. This happened near the Ferebee shop. They said they could fix our problem within a couple of days. Inconvenient, but we were happy they were able to help us. Everyone was courteous and pleasant. $950.00 dollars later we were on our way home. Since the Corvette is not our primary vehicle, we do not drive it often. We did notice with in a few weeks that the power steering fluid was leaking out of the car. We contacted the Ferebee shop, spoke to Sambo, he said to ket him know what the result was. Then my husband broke his shoulder and so the car sat for a few months until we were able to get it to a shop by us. It was leaking from a hose, and the repair cost us another $550.00. We contacted Sambo at the Ferebee shop and sent him all of the paperwork. This was his response: "we reviewed the information you have sent. However, when your vehicle came in back in July the hoses were checked including the power steering hose. It was not leaking then. It may have started leaking in the following months after the pump was replaced. That hose was not the cause of the power steering pump failure back in July. As we discussed on the phone, we won't be helping with the repair. Let us know if you need a copy of the invoice from back in July that reflects the power steering pump was the only thing we found to be defective." We just want everyone to know that this shop does not stand by their work.
