I recently had a great experience getting running boards installed on my car. The first set I ordered from Amazon was the wrong model, even though the vendor claimed it would fit. John, the mechanic spent nearly four hours patiently trying to adjust them and even attempted custom modifications, but they just wouldn't fit properly, so I asked him to uninstall them. He only charged me two-thirds of our agreed-upon price for his time. The very next day, I returned with the correct running boards, this time ordered directly from the manufacturer. John had them installed in under an hour and charged me even less than the full original price. I really appreciate his patience and the quality of his work throughout the entire process.
