Super sweet people and always super friendly! They have a great selection of basics! They have a lot of individual items like candy and other hygiene things that you might need if you’re on a road trip. Always a nice little place to stop into if you need really anything. The have a lot of options if your cooking dinner too and also a lot of good items to be stocking stuffers

This was my first time here, even though I've lived in Gloucester most of my life. What a gem! It's like stepping back in time. I ordered some prepared food items for Thanksgiving, and I'm looking forward to them. I ordered the lunch special for my husband and myself and it was great... flavorful, different, and tasted healthy. I bought a kind of beer I don't often see in stores; the alcohol selection is nice for such a small place. Nice variety of regular and gourmet food items, sundries, etc. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Stopped here at Nuttall General Merchandise for lunch. It was awesome. On a normal day I would have driven by, but we had a recommendation. The corned beef was delicious, bread and vegetables fresh. But there is more, this humble looking building, it has its own unique zip code 23178. So many same old, same old places with great exteriors and mediocre food. They succeed because we too often take the easy routes. Try something new, eat local.
