My fiance and I got a new to us vehicle yesterday from York's of Houlton Fresh Start program.It feels grandiose to say this but Amanda, Dushanbe, & Yorks really restored my faith in buying cars in town.I called last week with a question, not even really intending to buy a car, and in a matter of a few days Amanda and the gang created an opportunity that enabled us to be in a position with the down payment & the weekly payment we could manage.They didn't give us anything, and this isn't an ad, it's just the experience we've had.We had a minor issue that they are dealing with and even notified us of a minor recall issue they are taking care of. We were extremely Gun shy about getting a vehicle local after our last experience,but this has exceeded my expectations. I actually feel valued and taken care of, this is how I would expect a car buying experience to be. Amanda is amazing, she knows her stuff, and answered all our questions. If you have credit that's taken a beating (mine is terrible) they may be able to help you.

Stopped in late in the afternoon when our car battery wasn't holding charge in hopes they could squeeze us in the next day. Christian immediately came out to perform a battery test and within minutes we had a new battery installed and were out the door. Been taking our cars here for years and for good reason. Exactly what we paid for, 1/4 of the price of other salvage yards we called. We called late after noon and it was ready to pick up early next morning. Very friendly personnel a great experience.

I haven't had the pleasure to buy a vehicle here but I can speak to the owner's character.One of my trash trucks broke down in front of his place late one afternoon and the owner was nice enough to let us tow the truck into his yard to make repairs the next day.Thank you Frank, we appreciate your hospitality and wish you luck in business!

We ordered a rear stabilizer bar and by the end of the day they had it off the car and ready for us to pick up. It ended up being the wrong one. So I called them up to see if I could get a different one. They said no problem let us take it off the car. The next day they called to tell me it was ready for pick up no extra charge... Excellent service!! Definitely would recommend.

More than likely they can put their hands on what you need quickly. But, it's a bit expensive

Great customer service and prompt response, even after hours. I submitted an inquiry on their website last week after hours and received an email response within 15 minutes. They arrived on time on the date agreed upon to pick up the vehicle. The vehicle was in a less than desirable spot but yet he finagled the tow truck and got it loaded without an issue. Paid the the amount agreed upon in cash same day. Through out the entire experience he remainded friendly and personable. Was very satisfied with the whole experience. Would definitely use them again.

Found the Metal Wiper I wanted at a decent price, pleasant young counter guy with a "won't give up" attitude...just the ticket.

Absolute RUDEST people I have ever spoken to. I was hung up on, when asking for a quote, was not even given the opportunity to speak when I called the second time. And when I tried to calculate my decision, due to the fact that they LOWBALLED ME TREMENDOUSLY, they hung up once again. The third call was NEVER answered. The absolute WORST, most ENTITLED junkyard I have ever called, and they are ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS.

Great place...very rare parts. Good FAMILY to deal with. Prices very fair. Huge Yard with hundreds of cars,trucks,vans and busses to choose from. Cannot all be seen in one day...or one week even! Everything from 1920s up to early 2000s. Motorcycle and Dirt bike stuff too.

Very friendly and helpful. They asked great questions and found what I needed. They called me back promptly and the items were very inexpensive compared to any other potential sources. I would go to them anytime.
