I am not a scrapper full-time however I do try to do my part in Recycling and a few extra dollars helps with the budget. I have used a couple other area yards in the past, in my opinion none have come close to this operation, the yard is clean and the staff is knowledgeable and willing to guide you in how to receive the best price for your scrap. Although I only go a few times a year, I brought in a couple loads just yesterday, and they remembered me by name! That's the kind of friendly professional, and fair treatment you can expect from this group.

What a great experience with Tom and his speedy roadside service! I was in Fleischmanns, NY for the first time for a long weekend in Oct 2020 with my wife and two young children. We noticed a flat before we were about to leave, it was the first flat in my life, ugh! We felt helpless and were in a cabin way up on a hill and not easily accessible. We called Shamros Tire & Auto Services, spoke to Tom, and he was at our cabin in literally five minutes in his pickup truck, we couldn’t believe how fast he arrived. He was so nice, he listened to me explain the issue, then he quickly got our car jacked-up and the tire off. After diagnosing the issue as a bad sensor on the external tire valve, he took the tire back to his shop, fixed it up, and arrived back to finish the job. Thirty minutes later we were ready to hit the road for the 2.5 hour ride back to NYC. I’ve heard horror stories about people having to pay exorbitant amounts of money when having a car issue, and Tom’s service was the EXACT OPPOSITE. We were shocked at the low cost of the roadside service. I offered to follow him back to his shop to pay, but Tom took our credit card number and said he’d run it later, saying if he had any issues, he’d give us a call. He texted us an invoice picture 30 minutes later for our records including the details of the new valve. What an incredible experience that we’ll never forget, being in an unfamiliar place, needing help, and Tom coming to our rescue. Chuck from Big Indian Towing also stopped by in case we were in need of a tow, but he and Tom spoke as they know each other, and they concluded it was a simpler solution. We have another trip to Fleischmann’s in three months and our positive memory of our tire and Tom’s assistance will certainly be a fun topic of discussion. I was very pleased with this place! I was a little bit concerned ordering all the way across the country but I must say I received very good service. I got a knee assembly for my 300 srt8 from them for a very good price and a very reasonable shipping cost as well as it being shipped the day after! In so glad you guys helped de put because it was nearly impossible to find a used knee assembly in good condition for my vehicle. Will be doing business again with them if the opportunity appears! This is the first place that we go to for a good reliable used vehicle.. First my wife bought an '07 Camry & then our daughter just recently purchased a 2012 Mazda 3..Ryan and Ray are a pleasure to deal with. They are quick to take care of issues before & right after the purchase.. Ryan was quick to offer to look over the Camry for my wife after the first week of having it.. Excellent company with very competitive pricing, I called to have a roll of container dropped at my Aunts house for a pool removal and the gentleman delivering the box called my aunt about placement and the box was placed perfectly. Once she was finished she called their dispatch for pick up and they came right when they said they would. Friendly and knowledgeable staff when we call as well! Definitely recommend and will be using for our future projects!
