What a terrible place to get any parts or information from. These people don't know what they are selling. I came all the way from the Bronx and told them what car I had. They said it's all the same. It was wrong. Terrible customer service

I've been bringing "Scrap" to their West Haverstraw for a Number of Years Copper, Electric Motors, Old A/C Units (Disassembled). Always been treated Fairly. There are other Options in the Area, but I Prefer "NELSON'S".

Hands down the worst auto parts yard in Niagara county. I was told the part i needed was one price get their its 20% more than what they said on the phone. (They won't let you leave a deposit over the phone either) i paid them to pull the part and they destroyed it. It’s now not usable it’s an after market part that you cant get a replacement gasket for. Called for a refund. Explained that they ruined the part when they pulled it. Asked for HALF of my money back and they told me to kick rocks. This place is such a scam. Horrible horrible horrible people to do business with. Nasty lying people. Lied about price. Lied about part. And broke the piece i bought. You can light your money on fire and it will be more useful than stoping at daves trashyard

I'm fairly new to scrapping and usually visit metalico but they closed early today so I decided to try somewhere new and stumbled upon Niagara metal. Great place, great employee and Good communication. Couldn't ask for more. Sam(manager)went out of his way to teach me how to scrap effectively, he was very polite, answered all my questions and made sure I knew how to get around the yard. This will be my new and only scrap yard.

We are a business just as they are. Their front end ladies are very rude and nasty. We were charged twice over The Weeknd, under $25, We called first thing Monday morning to explain to them we were double charged. The lady we spoke to said she will call us back in the afternoon. We haven't heard anything, we called in the afternoon to check the status, they apologize for not getting back and asked that we email Nicole Dunwoody a copy of the CC statement which we did. We called today, Wednesday for status and was told the boss will be in Thursday to review, we expressed that we wish we would have been told this on Monday so we didn't have to call and would wait for their call, she "Nicole" or "Roma" either one because they keep switching their names as to who they are screamed at us and hung up the phone, we called back and the lady on the phone said her name was Roma, we asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and she said he was out driving. Very unprofessional.The $25 is not the case here, its principal and customer service should never treat customers in such manner. We deal with irate customers all the time, but never will we yell or hang up on them.

This place is awesome! They had the part I needed at 50% less than the spot near me. The only problem was I had to drive an hour into Long Island. (terrifying) However, I called ahead, and the part was waiting for me when I arrived. The part was in decent shape and reasonably priced. The transaction was smooth and easy. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. Being able to get in and out of Long Island unscathed was a real blessing. Make sure to bring cash since there’s definitely a fee for using cards. But seriously, who shows up at a junkyard without cash? Your parents raised you wrong :) Thankfully, there's a Chase Bank one block away for you heathens. Other than that, dope spot. Blessings.
