Schnitzer Steel is where your dead car is lifted into to automotive heaven. If it weren't for this corporation, Oahu would be overrun by rusting out hulks of old cars. They have an impressive pile of cars waiting to be torn apart. You can see some of the ongoing operation from the neighboring beach part. Take the kids and teach them about the circle of car life. Its good, traditional family fun!

For the most part the service is friendly ,but some of the younger workers act like they don't want to be bothered to help you it can be an uncomfortable feeling.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every time I sent in a power of attorney, it was rejected without any reason given. When calling the office I was always given a different answer as to next steps. No one coordinates or talks to each other. It has been a month and a half and I still haven't been able to receive payment for my car. I wish USAA would end their partnership with them as it has really soiled my opinion of their services. If you have any choice at all, don't use them. If you have to work through them because of your insurance, I'm so sorry.

Less than friendly service I made and offer on metal that was slightly less than what they wanted to less. They counter offered twice the poundage I needed and than proceed to complain to 2 different employees about how little metal I wanted in front of me. After that said I would by the larger amount for the price they said the metal was going for in there counter offer. They then dismiss me saying I was just wasting there time. I will never go here again.

walked into the tow yard and it's chaos. tow trucks maneuvering fork lifts moving cars and cars being crushed 20 feet away. but in the middle of that mayhem and destruction are friendly smiles and helpful people. go with a good attitude and D, Val, and Chad will return it.

I contacted this side for a while for a pick up and nothing has been done or any updates. No less they don't reply back once you call or email them.

Did an excellent job repairing a parking dent in front passenger side quarter panel. Matched the paint perfectly. Ron was great to work with and gave me a great deal! They even cleaned the car inside and out.

Nice place , lots of parts! Cheaper than eBay with shipping. Parts are removed for you unlike some other used car parts dealers where they charging eBay prices but you still have to pull the parts yourself in the hot sun. This place is very convenient just call and the part is ready. The location not so convenient but if you need a part it's there. Very helpful staff. They have tons and I mean TONS of engines. Lots of glass too , quarter windows and all. I had a good experience shopping there on 5/22/2022. Cons: far away from town/windward side. Not the cheapest. One of the best things about this place is that they store parts on site and have an extensive inventory of used parts unlike the cheaper guys who only have what they have on hand.
