Highly recommend for towing needs. We were pretty sure our vehicle was having issues with the alternator and they not only towed our vehicle to the shop but tested the alternator to let us know how much power it was putting out because the garage was already closed for the night. Super friendly, helpful, prompt and updated us from the time they picked up our job until our van was safely at the shop. Cannot recommend them enough!

Been here many times and prices were always fair and service was perfect acceptable. The yard is not very large, you could easily make a lap in 5 minutes and doesn’t necessitate someone holding your hand and walking you to the vehicle you asked about… like others would try and make you believe. P.s - I’ve always been pleased with the service here and don’t happen to be a grown white man. Ignore the Karens

Amazing place... The guy who runs it is a pretty cool dude. I like how you can just pretty much walk in there. Unlike the other places in Evansville, you always need a vehicle, but if you have a scooter. Or you're walking. You can take smaller stuff in.

The girls there running the scales and the register along with the guys unloading are some of the nicest people anyone could meet. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable about what is going on. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is because their price list is wrong. I expected 3.40 per pound of #1 copper and only got 3.04. Please keep your price list undated.

This garage is top notch in quality and customer service! Our van broke down at 10 pm on the toll road and Big Mike came out and helped us out and had us back on the road before noon the next day. Had some paint work done on my car. They painted it well, cleaned up some rust, and patched some holes in the body. Did all this for a very price and I'll be coming back for more auto body related problems.

I went to this junkyard hoping they would have my parts, their system showed nothing that I needed in stock. They let me walk the yard and look for miscellaneous brackets if I wanted. When I came back with parts I needed they were reasonable with the price since I pulled them myself. Some very helpful and friendly staff, I would recommend them to anyone!

Excellent salvage yard. The people are friendly and care. I have bought several things from Shepherd's, most recently a great set of tires for my wife's CR-V. Couldn't beat the price for over 75% tread remaining. I've also found hard to find things, for example, a motor for the fold out ramp on our Braunability wheelchair accessible van. Extremely hard to find and very reasonably priced. We always call here first anytime we are looking for used parts.

Towed my daughter’s vehicle an hour after arriving to her apartment complex. We hadn’t even finished putting her room together. Called to explain “just got here today to move in. We can show you her lease and ID to clear this misunderstanding up. She acquired the lease over the phone/internet from 3 hours away and has been paying rent since June, but has a job in Fort Wayne for the summer. This is her 1st time down here and hasn’t received a parking permit yet.” They refused to release the car without paying the $160 fee. I feel it is reasonable to be frustrated by the situation and to ask “does that make sense to you?” I was called rude, and said that I had 2 options. She could hang up or I could wait until Monday to get my daughter’s car. This was on a Saturday. We eventually got ahold of the leasing office, who called them to explain. Still had to pay for them to give the car back. I get why you need towing companies (especially in college towns) but this ain’t it people. Just use a little common sense. And please, please use your same pompous attitude when responding to my review like you did the others that have had trouble with you. State your “facts,” but be sure to include the recorded phone conversation (unedited) the we had with those facts. Thank you!
