Most of the time, it is a good place to go... I generally go to a different scrap yard for my copper because it seems like I get more money from elsewhere. Don't know why. Maybe they need to upgrade the scale...

In my experiance this is a great place to come during rain or shine. If it does rain it is not muddy that bad, plus most people have four wheel drive so you wont get stuck, ive never had a flat tire either. Secondly they dont put you in a spot that you cant get out of. Its very easy to get in and out of a one way road if your not from asheville and have patience and curtisy to let the other people by you. And lastly they are family folks and a great business and wonderfull to be around. Thanks for all you guys do and keep up the good work.

I called them as I was driving to their business from out of state and they had the part waiting when I walked through the door. They helped install the part at zero charge. This is how you do if folks. I would give them a million stars if I could.

Made a sale to them and it went very smoothly. The people at the front that I spoke with were very polite and professional. I called my husband when I left and recommended it to him because occasionally he does need to go to a salvage yard to find things. Would definitely go back if I need to.

My first visit there with some materials from old computer equipment. I had already separated the different metals and circuit boards. The worker was great at answering my questions and getting me through quickly. After unloading from my vehicle they handled the materials. I got a slip with the types and weights. Went to the checkout location/pay window. Was given cash and a receipt with the breakdown of what they paid for each material. A great first experience. Quick and easy. I had called prior to get an idea of what needed to be done with the old computers before going. They answered the phone and answered my questions. That may sound simple but is actually less of a common thing these days.

Tried to recycle a catalytic converter that I switched out on my own truck. Called ahead. They told me I need the receipt from the purchase of my new catalytic converter. I brought that in and they told me my name has to be on the receipt. They didn't tell me that before they had me drive up there with my old catalytic converter. O'Reilly's doesn't print your name on your receipt. You should be honest with your customers and tell them what they actually need so they don't waste their time.

J and T are some great people. I’m in Georgia 320 miles from J and T and bought a transmission over the phone. They are very patient people as I had problems with the transaction on my end. But when they were resolved the transmission was shipped and received the next day. I’m 100% satisfied with what I got. And the prices are very reasonable. Thank you and your employees.

Easy to find what I was looking for everything in well organized spots. Little disappointed in taking a part back very next day that the owner him self sold me and put his markings on himself said the markings didn't look like his as if he didn't want to refund me. After a few min he did decide to refund me. He remembered me getting it and I had recite he wrote. Maid me feel like he didn't want to give me my money. Wanted me to exchange it instead. But did refund me fully. I will continue to buy from him since he did do me right at the end.
