After a pleasant small exchange, I ended up purchasing a car from this family run operation and will likely do so again.I got a 2006 Toyota Avalon for under $6000 and recently completed a Sacramento-Fresno-Monterey-San Francisco trip that was smooth as glass. This is not, obviously, your typical auto dealership and the transaction could take days, but I am pleased with my purchase and recommend them.

Read the reviews before you purchase from Oneway Auto. James only cares about the money and not creating a long lasting relationship with his customers. His negative reviews out way the good ones and its for a reason. 10/24 I purchased a transmission for my customer for a 2011 Toyota Venza for $1,600. With transmission jobs like this(Toyotas) its an easy swap but once the swap was done it was throwing a code P0500 “Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Malfunction”. This code is set when the vehicle's Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Engine Control Module (ECM) detects incorrect speed readings or lack of a signal from the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). Now I could have easily called James and told him the transmission isn’t working but we did our investigation and found that it all lead to the transmission module. I call James 10/26 and he says no problem I'll get you another one for tomorrow morning coming from bakersfield. The next day rolls around and no module mind you we already promised our customer by a set time the vehicle. I call James and he mentions the the module will still arrive Friday. I call James in the afternoon and his not there he took the day off. He couldn’t even let his workers know what was going on so they couldn’t help me and they close Saturday so no car for my customer. I call Monday James says the module hasn’t arrived yet, i call again later in the afternoon and still no module. I get it James has no control over shipping but to not even make the effort of giving me a call and keeping me updated. I still have to report back to my customer and its making our business look bad. Tuesday 10/31 I call and James said that he thought it was being delivered by UPS but instead DH gate and that it still wasn’t shipped out!!!! He mentions that he has sent out his driver somewhere in Anaheim to retrieve one and the driver would be giving me a call to let me know his eta. The driver never gave me a call. I call James he doesn’t want to answer my calls(he could be busy thats fair) i call for the fourth time i speak to a women and she mentions that the driver has obtained the module and is taking it back to them!!!! Why? if James said the driver would take it to us. I call Wedneday 11/1 morning to pick up the module James says he has no news of the module and he has to wait to have a meeting with his drivers!!!! we later call him and tell James to pick up his transmission(at this point we’re tired of how much time it has taken) and return us our money he says ok and doesn’t say anything else. Thursday 11/2 he'll send someone to pick up the transmission never sends someone I call him, James mentions that his finance department hasn't provided him the check. Friday 11/3 we drop off the transmission and as my worker is walking out with the check he tells him that there is a restocking fee of 20%!! So not only did James waste our time he took $320 from us. I understand if the part was good and we wanted to return but the part was not good to begin with. James already wasted our time, he won't call you back, he'll make you feel like you’re a nuisance. I know James is going to read this and James when you do, have a sense of customer service people can tell when you genuinely want to help them and when you don't. James was also mentioning that the car would have to be programmed(Lies!!) with the module that was attached to his transmission. We purchased the module somewhere else and the car worked perfect with no code. This man knows nothing about cars.

This business has the worst customer service as far as standing up for their used products they sell to customers. When you pay 2000.00for used engine and then pay 1500.00 Job over 4000 to repair car. then you get the engine installed and it has a knocking noise from the front of the timing chain cover so you call the vendor you bought the motor from and they tell you you’re out of warranty I told them the motor just got installed. Yes I understand your warranties 90 days and it took 90 days to get it installed but that was the only place I could find it was I could afford to get it repaired for $2000 and you tell me I’m out of warranty because of the time the motor you sold me was no good it has a knocking noise I bought a $2000 motor that has a makes noise and you don’t stand behind it. Beware of this company. .

Don't buy from this place sold me a rusted seized up engine and the owner claimed it ran but after opening up the engine it was rusted up i spent almost 300 on rear main seal and oil pan for me to take off the heads and see water corrosion/rust took it back and they don't want to return my money or give me anything for the gaskets been almost 2 weeks since they said they would have another engine and nothing been going back and forth with them and no luck Update the claimed it wasn't there engine and after a month they gave me another block with no accessories even tho they sold me the original block with accessories for 800 they refused to give me any money back for the parts I spent or for the accessories that came with the original block don't trust these people or business look elsewhere

They do not give you an address ahead of time because they don't want you to read their reviews before you go. Reading their reviews now, it looks like multiple people had the same problems I did. I drove 2 hours to see a car and when I got there they told me they wouldn't sell it to me that day and it didn't even start Also the oil dipstick was broken off in the pan and it smelled like animals got in to it. Do not waste your time with this business they do horrible work and try to hide it

I am skeptical about buying things online because I have been burned before - HOWEVER - I have made multiple purchases from Viking Used Auto Parts and could not be happier.My experience is that their products are as advertised - you get exactly what you ordered.I bought used speakers for my Land Rover and they wrapped each speaker individually with extra padding to make ensure nothing was damaged in transit.I also ordered an ABS pump for my Land Rover and needed it right away. Viking Used Auto Parts worked with me to make sure I was getting the correct part and let me pay for expedited shipping so that I got the pump the next day. Have had these guys tow many of our cars because of breakdowns and such. Recently had a bad experience with another tow company, so I thought I would give kudos to a company that deserves it. From now on, I will INSIST on towing with Big Mama'z.

They were able to haul away junk and debris from my backyard on the same day I called. They were fast, efficient, and professional.

They set up a date to pick up my car and told me they would be here early morning, I waited all morning and no call or nothing. This place is a joke don’t waste your time
