We have used J&J to salvage a couple of vehicles. One for us and one for a tenant a while back. They are super responsive and fair. I would strongly recommend them for any auto salvage needs.

Daryl, who runs the garage, is a fantastic Subaru tech. Super knowledgeable, fair and forthright. If you've got a Subaru he's the best option anywhere.

As I was working out of my home this past year, I needed more space. So, I commenced with taking down the wall that separated the living room from the dining room. I should have known better but for anyone that plans on financing a vehicle through here needs to know a few things:They sold me a 2013 Subaru Outback for $8,000. The actual value of the car is $7,025. I put $2,000 down - today I found out that this down payment DOES not go toward the car loan, but toward the warranty. Well I cannot use the warranty because on the bill of sale, it says the mileage is 166k, even though the odometer read 169k. There is a slew of problems with the car, and I now cannot use the warranty that I paid for. So when you sign the paperwork, MAKE SURE THE ODOMETER MATCHES WHAT'S ON THE BILL OF SALE. They essentially pocketed the $2,000 that I gave them. Writing this review so other people do not get taken advantage of, as I know most people with less than decent credit have few options. Put down as little as humanly possible and make sure the odometer matches the bill of sale. I have filed a complaint with the financing company to investigate the matter, I have reported the company to the Better Business Bureau, and will attempt to try a few other things. But you really need to nitpick the paperwork through here, because they will try to take advantage of you.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend ordering parts from them. They tell you that they will have the parts within a few days and you will be waiting quite a while for them to come in. I’ve ordered a part for my truck and so far I’ve been told several different days that my part will be there to pick up and unfortunately I still waiting for my part to come in. They refused to refund me because Larry said that he ordered it. Well I still don’t have my part and it’s going on 2 weeks now definitely not impressed with them. I hope they get my part soon

Even tho they may be a closed business, they are still open, because they need 2 sell off their inventory. They literally have many tons and tons of parts, sheet metal, wheels and glass. It is still worth a call to see if they may have what you want, I have known Mike and crew for over 40 plus years, so he trusts me enough to alow me to walk the grounds alone to look for what I may want. He points me to an old bus or section in a barn, where I might find it. Unfortunately they did not have what I was looking for.Until they close up and scrap and crush what is left, I will still call them for my needs FIRST.If only the olds parts could talk ?

My company has worked with Berwick metals for the past year and they have been exceptional. I always receive a call back if I call after hours or during a busy time, and they make sure to get us on their schedule immediately without issue. Anyone in commercial work will appreciate the customer service and consistency that Berwick provides.

Honest and knowledgeable. If you have an air cooled VW and are patient these guys are the best. Yes, they are slow but they know more than anyone in the state about vintage VWs.

The guy running the scale is great and friendly. Takes time to explain where stuff goes and what the process of sorting stuff at there yard is. Also easy in and easy out.

I’ve been scrapping for a lot of years now, and just found out about this place a few months ago. Boy wish I was aware of it long before now. Been there twice in the last few months and nothing but good people from the yard to the office. This place is my new go to for all scrapping purposes.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Unprofessional hillbillies. They will waste your time and tell you to come up for a part then when you get there they refuse. When you thank them for wasting your time they call you obscenities. Low class even for a salvage yard.
