By the time I called SOS Salvage I had waited two days to hear from another local business, and had been told by another local business they would offer me 150 dollars for my car if I had it towed to their location. SOS Salvage answered my call quickly and very honestly. While I did not end up selling my car that unexpectedly blew its engine to them, they offered me the best deal of anyone in the area that I did call. Also, the person I spoke to, I believe his name was Mr. Shaffer, was so honest with me, I actually kept looking and ended up selling my car to an out of state auto salvage company for far more than anyone, salvage or car dealer, offered me! Bought a transfer case from them, have them the part number off mine, they had one they said would work, paid cash for it, got it back to the shop it did not fit. Took it back to return it, the owner was not in they said they refunded me back the money to my cc, weeks went by never got the money, called multiple times they kept saying they were mailing me a check. Almost 3 months later I still have not gotten my $1000 refund. Beware of doing business with these people

First time I've heard of the yard. But it ended up being the only place in wv where I found the parts I needed. They have a decent sized collection, which they keep organized quite well. He was a great guy who makes sure to work with you on prices, so you arent leaving without the parts you need. I got everything I needed and for a fraction of what I expected to pay out.

People here are super friendly and Donnie knows his stuff. They don't have a lot of "extras" like Advance or Auto Zone, but I'm going there for car parts not for fuzzy steering wheel covers. They seem to always have what I need for my cars in stock.

You can find really good deals here but they don't have too many cars to pick from but when they do and if it's the car that you need you can get the parts for a really good deal.
