They were OK to deal with on the phone, however the driver they sent our spoke mostly Spanish he couldn't really understand what was being told to him. I was working on the owes behalf contacting companies that would give us the best price for a new 95 Mercury Sable. My advice is if you don't speak Spanish be careful of using this company

I have to agree with Tony Hays and Jared. I've been selling my "Bright" scrap here for twelve years. NO MAS! New owners (or office staff) are ripping people off. I got paid for flat iron @5 cents/lb. instead of the usual prepared steel or "Bright" price they usually pay. I know my green ticket was correct, so the woman in the office did the deed. New owner or just a dishonest employee?

Straight shooter no doubt, we have been buying vehicles from Phil for 3 years each time one of my boys turns 16, and are thrilled with the value. He provides economical transportation that in our experience has been completely reliable.

Do business here a lot. Workers in the yard; flawlessly perfect. The people that pay you; pathetic. One chic is on her phone all the time and won’t even acknowledge you’re there. It takes forever to get paid. It takes longer than it does to unload your recyclables

Wish I didn't have to write this review, but when an owner of a business can't back their product and find every excuse in the book not too, it deserves a review. Especially for a customer that has done business with them before. We purchased a transmission based off of a VIN from them and they delivered us a 6 speed automatic versus the CVT we requested. It then took another few days until they got the right transmission, and we had to pick the transmission up. Upon installing the transmission, the vehicle didn't move. We then verified if the transmission had a filter in it by pulling the pan, and found out the transmission has water in the transmission that we received. Explaining to chapin that after we installed it the transmission didn't move, they became very defensive and claimed we didn't give them the core within 7 days. Which we did when we picked up the transmission. They also tried to say that because it took us longer than 7 days to install, that they weren't going to warranty it. It's sad that a wrecking yard won't back up their product. Be careful with what you buy from here, the run around that they give you. Also be prepared to continue to stay on top of them to get your order done, otherwise you'll never get a call back. This goes for both number 1 and 2 locations.

Who ever answers the phone over there was very rude and made no effort what so ever to help me out with my question. Told me they were closed when I was on the phone with her and hung up when I asked if there was someone else I could speak to. I haven't even been to the place yet to see if they have what I need and am already hesitant to go due to the phone conversation. If I could give negative stars for this I would. Never in my life have I had a business that I was on the phone with be so quick to hang up and not help a potential customer. Really the whole experience was aggravating and if I did not desperately need to find this part I wouldn't pursue it. Not looking forward to having to go there. I can only hope that when I do I'm not stuck dealing with the incompetent waste of time that I spoke to prior. If any one knows a different place I could go to find a replacement sunroof for an 04 c230 I'd be very grateful.
