Went there for the first time to figure an issue on the transmission, they couldn't figure it out and recommend a new transmission instead. Steve was quick to get rid of me over the phone and even in person. I understand the busy work life, but in a business, customer value is key for a long lasting business. They promised to get back back me with quotes but never did. Their word is not their bond. Won't come here again. Save your money people.

I thought I was doing business with someone who had my best interests in mind but I was wrong. I brought my truck in three times over a period of a few months to be repaired because antifreeze was disappearing and every single time they didn't do anything. One time I was told that the coolant levels fluctuate with temperature and it could explain why my radiator was empty. The next I was told that maybe the engine is burning up the antifreeze! And the third...well...they ripped me off. That time I took my truck in because I knew something was wrong and I didn't know what. I told them my automatic transmission was shifting late and that I wanted them to review the work they did on my coolant system, particularly the water pump. They offered to scan the transmission and ckeckout the cooling system all for 89.99. Later they call me to tell me that the scan codes said my engine is overheating and that my radiator is leaking, which the overheating would cause a late shift. I knowing how to replace a radiator in a Ford ranger said I'd take it home and fix it myself. Then I was told the scan was gonna be 89.99 and the pressure test on the coolant system was going to be 59.99! I never authorized to do the second test! As a loyal customer it should be a courtesy to take a look at something in the vehicle for a customer. I was never informed that it would be an additional charge. I was not even aware they could do such a test because if I was I would of requested it from the moment I found my radiator empty! And now I have a very serious problem. Due to the fact that my engine has been overheating for months without me knowing, other than that the coolant was disappearing, my engine has damage from overheating and my engine oil is leaking into my coolant. Most likely it is a bad head gasket and worst comes to worst, I have cracked or warped cylinder head(s) from overheating. All of which can be super expensive! Argo, thank you for poorly maintaining my vehicle because now I am taking my own vehicle repair into my own hands because as you know I can only trust myself to do it right so I don't have to be spending several hundred dollars each mechanic visit so I can have one thing fixed, but have another thing left unfixed so I can continue to have issues and have to come again. You reduced the price of the second test to 25 dollars as if you were being nice. Maybe having a regular loyal customer was enough reason to eliminate it completely but because you wanted your 25 dollars now you no longer have my business and have a bad review. May this review help others find a trustworthy mechanic, and for me, it was not Argo.

They installed a new transmission in my F-150. They provided timely service and updates, and they thoroughly explained the process, even allowing me to see and take photos of the defective parts to submit to the manufacturer. They also did a free check after 500 miles to ensure the quality of their repairs. Service: Transmission

I dont know why Edward Lee is complaining as we replaced his thermostat housing 1/15/19 and never heard back from him till 5/7/19 when he said transmission was not shifting in which we Scanned his vehicle and did not find anything on the transmission but gave him a estimate on a radiator repair but did not want to do it at that time. We charged him $89.95 for the scan and a $25.00 coolant pressure check. He mention that he could put in his own radiator and we never heard back from him till this complaint, Do not know if he drove it to long with radiator leaking or what. Wish we would of heard about this as we are here to help people and trying to keep there repair bills at a minimum to help them out. We Never heard back from him ever so knew nothing about this till a customer mention it to me and said something did not sound right as I have been working on there vehicles for 30 years.. Sorry for the conflict and we are to help people not sell everything under the sun! They did a good job on the work, but I was promised the parts in 2 days, however, I had to wait 2 weeks for the shipment. The prices are okay, but every time I talked to Steve it was obvious he couldn't wait to get rid of me. I don't think that's how customers should be treated. I will most likely not be back!

The best. If Steve tells you that there is a problem or that this is what should be done, do not second quest him. If you do it will cost you more.

Steve is extremely friendly knowledgeable and helpful. He does some of the best machine work in the valley . I would and do recommend him to anyone.
