Great customer service at this business. I'm sorry I did not get the name of the person who helped me. He was very knowledgeable and helped me with my auto remote. Thank you so much , will be returning for future auto needs.

VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE and PERSONABLE...... I needed 2 replacement batteries for my Motorcoach Chassis.... I didn't even price them anywhere else, after meeting these guys.....they took the time to run the VIN number to verify exactly which batteries that I needed. The clincher was that they could install them for me immediately...... Due to medical issues I have severe issues in bending and am limited to a maximum lifting weight of less than 20 pounds.... I was also personally overheating and my blood sugar had dropped to where I had severe shakes..... These guys came to my rescue..... The batteries were installed, This location also sells candy bars so a Twix candy bar helped to stabilize my blood sugar .... I felt so bad for them as they were drenched from the high heat and humidity.... These guys SAVED MY DAY and made an expensive situation much less stressful. I GREATLY appreciate the EXTRA MILE that was taken to get me back going. Both mechanically and personally,..... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION for all of your automotive parts needs.I felt welcomed and appreciated.

In short David is amazing, super helpful and my Superhero! Unfortunately, everyone at this Avon Park location is not. This might be a little lengthy but when you get excellent service by one team member versus poor service by another it’s important that the entire story is told. I am a Marketing Professor and I teach my students the importance of customer service, so this hit home in more ways than one.Long story short my battery died in my car three times within two months. Each time I jump started it and it started right up. A week ago, I took it to my dealership which is 30 miles from me to see if I needed a new battery. I was told because I had driven such far distance my batter was fully charged and did not indicate a bad battery. And they did not want to sell me something I didn’t need. There was no indication that it was the starter or the alternator either. They were thinking I may have left something on to drain the battery. They told me that if it happened again to take it to my nearest AutoZone to have the battery checked and of it was the battery, I could buy one there and they could install it as well.Well, it happened this morning. I jump started the car using my Mom’s vehicle and drove it prayerfully to the nearest AutoZone that happens to be Avon Park. David greeted me cheerfully and tested my battery and indeed it was bad. I was ready to purchase one and asked if it could be installed. David asked another team member to help me as he had a bad back with brace and everything(I found out about the bad back after he helped me) . The other team member, unfortunately I don't know his name, walked to my car gave it a once over and told me it was too complicated to change the battery and he could not help me. I had already tried to start my car once I was there, and the battery had died again. Needless to say, I was in a straight.Although frustrated and near tears(it had been a long day with jumpstarting the car and driving, praying it would not stop). I said okay and asked if someone could jumpstart my car so I could take it to my dealer service dept now that I knew it was the battery. The other person told me it was up to their discretion, and he was not willing to jump my car, nor did they have any tools to help start my car. I must say he was not rude. He was just matter of fact and callous about it. The other guy sees a regular customer of my race ( I am African American) and ask him if he could help me and leaves me there with the customer. The customer was reluctantly willing to help me but was telling me at the same time that jumping other people cars drains the battery, so they don't like doing that. I feel like I am at everyone’s mercy at this point so I humbly ask if they could make an exception this time. Finally, when I am about to call my Mom to drive to my location to jumpstart my car I see my rescuer (Super Hero) David comes out with a smart battery charger willing to help me jump start. Before he jumpstarts, he takes a look at the battery in my car and tells me he can install the battery if I still wanted to purchase one. He said it was simple. I agree. David, my hero, installs the new battery and with such a wonderful attitude within 15 minutes.I did shed a few tears of relief on my way home. It's hard being a woman stranded with car problems and people unwilling to help. But David said he had girls and if ever they needed help, he would hope that somebody would help them. David is my super-hero. I made sure to get his name. If you go to this AutoZone, ask for David.Ps. When I got home and shared this ordeal with my Mom, she said she had the same situation at the Avon Park location. That one of the team members looked at her battery and was not willing to help her and she wound up going to lake Wales auto zone where they not only installed her battery but put on her windshield wipers as well.

I don't appreciate being upsaled. Looked up part night before. They had it. Cost 14 dollars. Went in, employee tried to tell me I needed the whole replacement for 90 Dollars. Once I told him that my husband looked it up he changed his mind. Don't up sale a female! Some of us do our homework!Bottom line, I got my part, and auto zone did not get 90 Dollars from me.

On Nov. 7 I picked up my order and was disappointed in these stores. I had bought an air filter for my toyota camry equal to the one in the photo of the order because that was equal to mine. But it turns out that the associates of this store bring me a red one, which had nothing to do with what I had seen in the photo of the order. Anyway, I don't buy anything else in this store.
