I watched this lady come in with two kids. She said her car won't start and just put a new battery in. They were trying to sell her another battery. I asked what car was hers. I go out and tighten the positive terminal on battery. Fired rite up. The young kids working here need to be trained. Especially not to rip women off, and just listen. Because of this you lost two customers. That lady and myself.

Im in Virginia working on a job,lm a stranger to the town,my car wouldn't start,at all,my battery was completely dead.l finally got a jump start but was told if I turn the car off it would die again. l called a few auto places nearby but nobody could fit me in. I called Auto Zone,Nathan answer and said bring it over, l will take a look,l prayed the whole way, by the time l got there l was a nervous wreck, he looked it over and said yes l will fix it,l had to sit down, l was weak with relief. I knew nobody in town, had no other alternative to get to work(no taxi around),six hours away from home. As of now if l have any car issues, Auto Zone will be the first place l call, not the competition that told me no they wouldn't be able to change it for me. Thank again Nathan,l really appreciated it.👍👍👊

I went there asked an employee for help. My car had broken down. I said to him I think its my battery. He replied after me describing what I thought it could be. Oh that's not the problem. Instead of him helping me and seeing if it was the battery 🔋. I asked to speak with the manager which I should have done that at first. However I was thinking if your behind the counter you should be knowledgeable about your job. Guess I was in the wrong for thinking right? However the manager assisted me with my concerns and guess what. Turned out the 🔋 was no good. Im just saying I'm no mechanic. Moral of the story is that people shouldn't work in retail jobs first if your not a people person. Secondly if your not informative of the job requirements. Just saying you are a reflection of the company at the end of the day.

The inventory displayed at each AutoZone is suspect. I had to travel to 4 different locations to get the parts I needed. 2 of the stores indicated it had the parts but didn't have them. I put 100 miles on my truck to get all my parts. Sad.

Battery testing was quick, easy, and free, just as advertised. The battery prices weren't awful, but the installation was a little bit substandard. The installer didn't have the right tools, and wasn't exactly sure what he was doing. It was obvious he'd taken a single class on battery installation and wasn't really a car guy. If I hadn't been avoiding the core charge hassle, I'd hav been able to install the battery easier and faster myself.
