Went to turn in scrap metal I'd been saving. The fellas we're super helpful. The front end buyer gave me some helpful tips. It's always a great idea to separate your metals (which I do), if you know how, to get maximum payment for copper, aluminum, bronze, mixed metals, etc. The fella working the steel yard was also super helpful. I had a bunch of brake rotors that he had me run thru the scale separately so I could get paid more. That was cool of him! I worked all morning sorting & loading the vehicle...my payout was about $69. You won't get rich collecting scrap metal, but I like doing it for a bit of extra cash to take on my trip I'll be taking soon. Most of the metal I cash in is stuff I find on the side of the road on my commutes to/from work....it adds up!

Went myself for the 1st time to take a load over as I've heard it's better pay out and it was certainly more than the local yard in home area , but I had brought about a ton and a half of mixed short steel , prepared &unprepared I had everything separated but I noticed it was only ran and paid out as short steel and not prepared/unprepared? Could have been my fault cause I was unsure on exactly what I had even tho I did end up with a decent chunk of change .. I feel I could have received more if was calculated right, I've done some research and ill be making a 2nd trip soon and will make sure I point out what I got so I get proper payment for specific type of steel I bring . Overall great place, decent people

Company pays 3 different prices for car bodies and twice has tride paying my $80 less per tunnel totaling around $200 less than I was supposed to get each time and after the rude woman in office insisted they weren't complete vehicles, they finallt paid me bc the vehicles in fact were complete and had converters on them. The last time I went and the last time I'll ever go there they ounce again tried there scam then after crushing the vehicle and flipping it 4 times, they cut the converter off to find it was empty and refused to pay "complete" for the vehicle.....this place is a scam and they are ripping off hard working men and woman with this tactic. Myself and all of my friends won't be selling our scrap here until they have made these losses right...never Sean such a operation were they can legally steal from people

Perfect example of a large corporationbuying a locally family run business and ruining it in the process. Rude staff, either ignorant or deliberately told to do so, will offer to pay you a lesser grade/price than anywhere else, when management is called into the matter, after some argument I am finally given the correct price, which is the case most times I have went there. I was going to this business long before (20 + years) Weitsman purchased it, it has been progressively worse ever since they have. I strongly recommend you do business elsewhere.

Yard guys are always super helpful. The office staff on the other hand have like zero personality, always rude and snippy like they hate their job. If you don't like dealing with the public don't get a customer service job. The one who processed today was horrible and rude.

When I scraped my car I had the cat converter. Off my car and the scumbag running the claw told me that u get paid more if I just left it , well not the case he robbed me of a $80 converter

I personally had a great experience here today from the guys in the yard to the lady in the office.

On several occasions have found that the grade of metal taken in was incorrect as to benefit profits of company and take advantage of costumers!
