Place is a rip off and most of the employees are a$$ holes don't do business here well worth going 30 mins down the road for scraping and buying car parts

Took my aluminum and scrap to Charlie's today. Had not been there for years. The guy who ran the scales was extremely helpful and joked with me about making his day hard, which put me at ease, since I didn't know the changes. It was a good experience, we'll hopefully go back sooner.

Cashier felt the need to take his bad day out on me because it was my first time there and I went the wrong way, but their prices are excellent.

Nearby scrapyard that is well organized and easy to reach from anywhere in Henderson County, NC. Pricing for aluminum, copper, stainless steel and misc. metals us competitive. Be prepared to spend some time for the yard to sort through the higher dollar material, to ensure that they are only paying for the high-dollar scrap materials at the market rate that day.

They pay the same as every other scrap yard obviously. But the front desk man seemed like we were a bother for showing up and wanting to do business. The fella who weighed our actual scrap was very friendly. He and the slight orginization on the yard arethe only reason this isn't one star

Customer service is good. Having to weigh in and out on same scale is VERY time consuming waiting for everyone else to weigh in and out. But overall experience and prices were not to bad. Just don’t rush yourself if you’re in a time crunch.

I have been going to Charlies for 12 years and I have found them to be efficient! I call ahead of time to find out the price of scrap metal and if the price is right I sort my metal to make the operation quicker. If I have any questions before hand I call ahead of time and they are always happy to answer them. Good job guys!

Called they're about a part for a car the guy that answered was very arrogant and acted like I was not very important at all did not even really want to answer any questions about the parts I was asking about and I have been there to take scrap metal before and they are very picky I understand they have a job to do but they go of a little overboard don't think I'll ever go back there
