Customer service, next to non-existent. They employ a second party answering service to take your message. A 24-48 hour response time is quoted. We've called on 3 occasions over the past week without the courtesy of a response. Whether or not these messages actually reach anyone at city carting is an open question. It may be they are simply tossed into the trash. I'd hope some other company is picking up that trash, otherwise it's likely just sitting around piling up. Try calling one of their competitors. I have; an actual company employee at the competitor picked up the phone, on the second ring even. We had a lovely conversation about switching my trash removal to their company.

I was disposing the debris from an old shed out of my SUV. Despite the site being a very active carting business, with construction vehicles and tractor trailers moving around everywhere, the system for regular folks and contractors to drop off their junk is effective. We were in and out. The only reason I took off a star was because the wait to get in AND out slowed us down. There is only one lane on the scale at the entrance where they charge you, so each side takes turns, one at a time. Oh, and they provide you with a hardhat and vest while you're unloading. Polite folks!

First time dropping off stuff... Wait wasn't bad and honestly, I don't understand the issue. You need to use one scale to keep things honest ;) and as it's the most convenient location for most in the area, I'm not sure what other options are available. That said, there was no issues, employees directing vehicles, orderly drop off and wait to pay on way out. Is what it is... Price is a slight bit more than maybe what is ok for some, but I think it was worth it to get rid of my junk. They take everything too, so what's the issue?

New Win Waste management is terrible. Last week they didn't pick up trash, this week they didn't pick up recycling. Waited on hold for 25 minutes! Their call back system wouldn't let me leave message. Switching companies

Warning, warning , warning, DEC inside yard issuing tickets for not covering load. Issued $250 ticket have to go to court in March. Be forewarned to put tarps and bungee cord your loads. Merry Christmas a Coumo Christmas.

Terrible service- the garbage collector refuses to pick up anything that doesn’t fit perfectly into 1 garbage can. We had a small, cut up box and he refused to touch it. Customer service is also rude and you sit on hold forever. Have since switched to Another company.

Driver of City Carting garbage truck just drove my friend off the road in Bedford, destroying his tire and wheel. The truck was speeding and took no action to avoid his car and didn't stop to help even though he had to have seen the evasive action. "Near Miss and Run". It would have been a massive accident otherwise. City Carting claimed nothing happened and has nothing to say. An apology to my friend would be nice. Acting like a bunch of gangsters in my opinion.

It's a free for all. People show up, cut in front of you and the staff just goes with it. Trucks block the exists, will take there time until you get out and say something because again the staff won't. I go to dumps every day for my job and I dread having to go here. The wait time is horrible. If you have any other options I would use them. I usually don't write bad reviews but I had to make an exception for this place. A solid 1 star that I feel that they consistently earn.
