    I bought a Freightliner from this yard It was supposedly should’ve been run & drive when I got there the truck even want to move because the cpc was stolen out the truck they own employees are stealing from the vehicles be aware before you by from here I end up spending over 3000 to get the truck up and running I hope corporate get this location straight out.

    I had a decent experience so far with this Copart. Just bought my 2010 Chevy Cobalt here the other day, and it's been a flawless interaction so far. The bidding/paying for the vehicle was easy; signing the Title into my name was easy, and the staff, though a bit subdued (probably from dealing with some Karens) were very helpful! The only thing I think is a real hiccup is that there should be more updates in real-time with domestic deliveries using copart. I have no choice but to sit at home all day because I need to wait for my vehicle to arrive. It would be extremely helpful if you had an updated tracking system that doesn't just tell you that your vehicle is In-Transit when it hasn't left the lot yet. In-Transit in a lot of logistics companies typically means it is on the way. It'd be better to have labels such as "On Site" for when it hasn't been picked up; "Qeued for Transit" when it is pending pick-up; "In-Transit or En-route" when it has been picked up. For me, I'd be waiting an hour after pick-up from this location, but because I don't have that type of confirmation, I have to sit at home when I have groceries to run errands for. Not every place is perfect though, but it would be a real investment to have a better tracking system in place. Might need to consider that for the future for a more seamless delivery process! All-in-all, i will eventually get another vehicle from Copart, but I mostly appreciate the process so far. ***ALSO WANTED TO MENTION!!! My car was bought as "Runs and Drives", but when I got to the location, it did not start. Keep in mind that it even says on the website that "Runs and Drives" is correspondent to the fact that it turned on and could be put into gear when it arrived. If it's been sitting for a while though, a battery could go bad, which means the car will not start. They even say that there's no guarantee. Based off of what I saw with my car, it's been sitting for 3 months. That's enough time for a used battery to go bad. Read everything before you make a bad review.

    SCAMMERS! Believe the reviews! I bought a 2016 Kia Sorento from them and under condition it said "normal wear and tare". I bid on the car according to that and I get the car it and it has a bad engine. They never disclosed mechanical damage anywhere. I will forever tell everyone I can how big of a scam they are.

    Now you can’t preview the car on the auction day even from 8 to 9 before the auction started like it’s usually allowed at any other locations. Like 40min away York Haven. I spoke with office manager Charlie. He said, no. You can’t preview the car on auction day.

    Never use copart transportation. I ordered copart to deliver all wheel drive couple years old lexus. I expected it will come on a roll back. It came on the back of the roll back truck with hooked front wheels, while the rear wheels freely spin. The transmission and transfer case are destroyed as a result. The manager said we do this all the time to all wheel drive cars. I have no words. They charged me over 20$ per 1 mile and butchered the car. No recourse. Beautiful professional guidance of knowledgeable manager. And i can't refuse it because I bought it. If I refuse, $1500 action fees plus 50$ a day storage or transmission repair. And if i refuse it, he wont deliver it again. WOW WOW. He thinks Copart has a monopoly on transportation. This is the company who hate people, on very top and it filters thru all levels of management. While clerks usually nice people. All based on these premises- to hate people. IAAI is much better. No appointments needed to pick up a car. No 2 hours waiting like at copart. Im Very upset. I hope this review will save someone's car.

    I hate copart and have started refusing loads out of their locations. I transport vehicles. Copart refuses to help load anything larger than a half ton pickup, even though they have the equipment to easily handle it. You have to set an appointment to pickup, I am at the mercy of other businesses, if I guess wrong copart gives me no option to change appointment time and cancels appointment and makes me reschedule to next available. I deal with alot of auctions, copart is by far the worst to deal with.

    This was my first time dealing with the Harrisburg location. Employees were helpful. It was a quick and easy process. I was over an hour early to my appointment. After check-in, I was quoted an hour wait. They took me 10 minutes later. I had my paperwork signed, and was out the door in under 8 minutes. They bought my vehicle over to load a couple minutes later. It was a great experience, despite all of these negative reviews!

    This is the worse location in the whole country. Bought a vehicle 2 weeks ago, it wasn't starting as wiring were all damaged to the fuel pump and they listed it as "run and drive". Bought another one last week, again mentioned "run and drive", vehicle had broken oil pan and won't start, engine was bad, they even didn't mention "mechanical". Same thing happened last year with another car. When you complain they say "you should check before buying, so we have to go all their locations in the country every day to check those hundreds of vehicles?" They don't care, seems like they don't have any efficient supervisor to train or question them. Their business mostly runs on foreign exporters. They charge about 30% fee. Unbelievable, Paid $750 on a 2600 winning bid. Got proofs for what I said above.

    No people skills at all. Management is terrible and incompetent. Lady at the counter just as bad. They can only learn to behave the way they’re taught I assume. I’ve been in business with copart for years and this is far from the only bad experience with this yard in particular. There is extremely long wait times even when you’re the only person waiting but the lack of customer service is what sets them aside. I truly don’t understand the boxes that were checked to be able fo hire such a manager.

    purchased a vehicle from here and it was listed at run / drive well that was a lie. Also the vehicle had frame damage and to make it look better they pulled the frame before posting. They pulled it so hard that it e-longated the holes in the lower control arm to where it has to be replaced. Also the pictures has the bumper just hanging on the front so you couldn't even see how messed up the frame was. When i go it delivered no keys where given to me either.

    Issue is when you hire unprofessional cheap low class people on manager level and give them responsibility they prove their nature. The manager attitude was 'I don't care' when he was asked respectfully that the vehicle has severe undercarriage damage and they announced the damage as 'side' (door). Engine had damage too underneath, all oil out, exhaust broken, insurance put marks too, how they didn't know about the undercarriage damage? Same typical answer 'all sales are final and it's recommended to come and check before sale'. I bid daily on many cars from different locations, how is that possible to go to every Copart location and check every car in your watchlist? Why don't you announce properly and spend 1 min extra to see what's the damage? Instead of apologizing that they didn't mention the damage properly he said 'I don't care, I can't do anything' and walked out. Part of their business practices to hide real damage and get more money for seller. That's why, their photos are always blurry and hard to show actual damage.

    Almost all their reviews are bad that shows the incapable management of this lot. They have the worst customer service, bad manners, rude way of talk from all employees top to bottom. long waiting time and complicated way of picking up vehicle and getting into office. Fees wise Copart is the most expensive auto auction, apart from about 20-30% buyer fee they charge $79 as gate fee just to bring the car out in loader, plus a separate bid fee $39-$129. They prove that robbing in the USA is so easy. Is there any authority in this country who can audit this company and shut it down for doing all this bad business practices.

    Read reviews and stay far away!!!!!! Worst buying experience of my life and most unprofessional staff. Look at the past months reviews, see a trend. Maybe it’s time for corporate to step in. Became a new member this week and purchased a Range Rover. Yesterday I drove to Harrisburg and paid with a Cashiers check. I asked if I need an appt as I would have a driver coming to pick up vehicle the next day. Tammy told me no just send them the lot slip. When my driver arrived today at 3:30 they refused to let him take the vehicle and said he needed an appointment as of today. I then called and spoke with Tammy and she said “they change the rules everyday here” I asked to speak with a Manager and was transferred to Alex and was immediately hung up on. When I returned the call I was to told “Go to hell and wait until you see your car.” This has cost me transport fees which’s I will have to pay again as well as time and I am not comfortable taking a non running car especially after being told “wait till you see your car”. Are you saying you are going to intentionally damage my vehicle? So much for your guarantees as listed on your website, you will be reimbursing me for my carrier being rejected to pick up vehicle. You will be able to access and retrieve any vehicle purchased by you during Copart’s regular business hours. In the event any of the conditions above are not met, Copart will refund the purchase price and all buyer’s fees, subject to the limitations below.

    The staff was great at getting the paperwork to me in a timely fashion, although I live just a few miles from Copart Pittsburgh West. They were very friendly and accommodating in completing the sale. What is not 5 star is their shipping. Absolutely no communication from Copart or the shipper. My car was left at an abandoned car lot up the street from my garage. It sat there for two weeks unknown to me while I waited for some type of communication from Copart or the shipper. I had to pay a local company to truck it to my garage, and trying to get reimbursed for that was worse than pulling teeth while the buck was passed. Buy with confidence the office staff will get you what you need. Be very wary of using their shipping though.

    Worst Copart in the country!! Alex is the worst manager I’ve ever seen. That guy needs fired! You guys are losing business because of this clown. Bought a car with rear end damage and only rear end damage. went and had car inspected by third party. Had more pictures sent to me. Bought the car had it shipped and when it got here it was missing the front bumper too. Someone there needed it for there personal car and stole it after the sale.

    I am very happy with my purchase of a wrecked motorcycle. It is better than described. The only negative experience was the yard personnel. I was told by the indoor staff to go to the gate and wait for the yard person who will lead me to my purchase. I waited for a while. The yard guy picked up my purchase, but didn't meet me. A second yard person seemed to think I should have known where to go, but I am new to this, and I am going to follow the instructions I am given.

    Do not buy from this copart, it is scam at location. Your questions are answered with lies, not posting proper information, when you talk to them on the phone and then in person it changes. A bad place to do business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Whomever the lady was at the front, wouldn't give her name. Is horrible. Before we even got to the window she was yelling at us to do it on the app which we already did. I showed her asking if I could get the title. She just kept saying I don't know what your asking. So I tried to explain it but she wouldn't stop saying she couldn't help me long enough to help me. Unless all titles are in the vehicles, which they are not, maybe you should get her some help cause she is obviously not up to the task. Im going to record the next interaction and pay that next.

    Better call before you come here. They make up their own rules that differ from coparts rules. Management doesn't care that they are wasting your time. Copart is going downhill

    I bid on a car last week, i went to look the car march 25 Friday and everything was good like in the pictures, today monday march 28 I went to pick up the car, when the guy in the forklift come with the car I look the front bumper was broken and the front grill too! I went inside to office and explain, someone damage the car I just bought and it wasn’t like that on the pictures or when I take a look to the car the last Friday! They said they move the cars around and that happens, they didn’t offer any help or solution now I have to buy a new bumper and grill! I pay for the car, gate fees, buyer fees and they aren’t responsable for the damage it is unfair!

    No one in front of me and I’ve been sitting here for almost 3hrs and the office personnel says it’ll be a little longer. 3 of the loaders are just out driving around not doing anything. This place really needs to get their act together.

    They misrepresented the truck for the man I drove. The picture was of the same truck in good condition. It said it ran and drove. That also was a lie. Did not start. Was risty.Cost him 12k to not take it. He is distraught how they could lie like this! If u buy here, inspect before auction!!

    You have to make a appointment from an app and then make another appointment for them to bring your car out I don't understand why when you make an appointment to get your car it should automatically go back to the loader so that your car will be pick up the old way was better

    Alex and Charlie run an unmatchable Copart branch! Travis and the yard guys are the best in the game! All of the inside workers are extremely accommodating! This Copart yard always seems to have an unrivalled supply of top quality vehicles at outstanding prices!!

    Showed up to clean out my wife's car after an accident. They ripped everything out of the car and shoved it in the trunk. We had a satellite radio receiver that I installed, they cut the antenna cable, so now I have to replace that. They also cut the straps for the car seat to get it out. (We were already planning on replacing it, but that's not the point here.) People should have an opportunity to come retrieve their personal belongings before you start destroying stuff.

    Been waiting hours after being told my car was going to be brought out just to be told after waiting so long that it's not at the facility that it's somewhere else. Waste of time I do not recommend this place to anyone. Unprofessional, autum is the one that attended me. Do not waste your time at this copart it isn't worth it.

    Not a true live auction. Bid online, shows the prices previously bid, you bid and shows you winning, place a max bid above shown bid expecting to see the prices change when others have bid, WRONG, price never changes, auction time ends, you think you won, think again. It then shows the auction bids and wins after the scheduled sale end bid times. So figure auction ends 10am. You bid 30 MINUTES Before 10am and then shows you as winning. Refresh page 30 minutes left till 10am. 30 seconds till end of auction, 10am rolls past and still shows you as the winning bid. Wrong totally screws you into thinking this when in fact You didnt win. The auction bids NEVER UPDATE TILL AFTER THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. More like a silent hidden auction hoping your bid showing as top bid is actually the top bid. On top of that you have to place a deposit so you can bid over a specific amount being 1000 and under no deposit required. Now you didnt win you have to wait 3-5 days for a check to be sent to you to then deposit back into your account. Unless you're a dealer this is not a public friendly service

    The run and drives are mostly bs. The run and drives can come with dead battery and no gas. I will try my luck in a lottery instead - the odds are better. Biggest part of the sham is - your pre-bids can become binding bids even before the auction.

    The place is terrible. No customer service, no care for vehicles at location. Keys are lost or stolen, no matter how expensive your car is. Copart is the worst auction in the USA and this brunch is a great example why.
